Leorah you are an artist and an individual. Most great artists were very misunderstood during their lifetimes. You inspire a lot of people just by you being you and sharing your art and insights with all of this. I love your idea for a spring model spread. To me it sounded like visual poetry. Kudos to your hubby for the makeup goodies and being super supportive of your craft.

I want you to know that you are I aspiring and that you have made my life better and more colorful since I found you. Whst that guy is, is a conformist. So of course he wants to mold you into something boring because that is his job. To make everyone want to follow. You are a leader and that's why he cant anide your style. You do you. I would listen to your advice any day over a person that is so cruel and closed minded. You are the best and I appreciate everything you do. I dedicate my look to you today.

Leorah, just because the man is considered an " expert" does not mean that all of us want to look like the models, most of us want to just be the best we can. However, that looks. I loved your concept for spring, I could just envision it. If your look is not what people like, or comes into the "fashion for the season", and it means that others do not accept what you do and who you are, you just won't get jobs. He did not have to be unkind. You are beautiful, and your color inspires, and you are so much more than your style, and make-up. You think beautifully outside the box. I look forward to your videos and seeing how I can modify what you do to fit who I am.

Ok, Leorah, this is all I have to say: I hope you don't find it too weird or stalkerish that I have about 25 screenshots of your Instagram saved in my phone so that when I clothes shop I pull them up and see if I can copy it! I adore your style completely. I have said it before and I mean it with ALL my heart: you inpsire so much. SO MUCH. I am actually crying now. I think you are an amazing woman - a true Woman of Valor - who inspires me to be a better woman. I ADORE your style, ESPECIALLY because it sets you apart from the crowd. I completely agree with you about how sad it is that society in general has a herd mentality about EVERYTHING. I wish we were in a place where people could love and appreciate people for their differences, not ostracize them. Sigh... Please continue being the strong, wise, beautiful, set apart woman He has created you to be!! Please remember you are my inspiration. 💗

Dear Leorah, you are such an beautiful inspiration to us. It is so very hard when people hurt us - I know that when I have received "constructive" criticism from someone, it has taken time for me to process it and I have realized that it is their opinion, not fact. Your career is blossoming because there are so many of us who don't want to conform but want to be zebra's with red ribbons! And you are leading the way! That teacher/stylist has made his career conforming to the societal restrictions and he could never understand you - he has limited himself, he has nothing new to offer. You do! Your heart is beautiful the way it is - it is what makes it so easy to embrace what you say and learn from you. You are amazing! Who you are and what you do makes a difference in my life! Thank you xx

That "man" (though clearly he is not worthy of the term) is insecure and cruel. He could have quite easily portrayed the (very subjective) information he wanted to without centring you out and dismantling you. Immature and highly unprofessional. He is terrified of not fitting in and is uncomfortable with your confidence. He might as well hang a neon sign that says so around his neck! Everyone does look the same and it is an absolute bore! Not to mention rather creepy! Like a weird "stepford wife" sci fi film come to life. Leorah, you never cease to amaze me with your grace and ability to remain grounded, kind and see the positive. You've no idea the inspiration you are and the impact you are having on the world. Never forget it. Stay Calm & Sparkle On!

I loved when you said that you are looking to God's creation for inspiration. If you can hold that in your heart that is half the battle. Also, please never let go of your feelings. I know right now they seem like a hinderance, but actually, they are your biggest asset. I actually feel sorry for this man. He has lost touch with inspiration, which is probably why he zoomed in on you. Someone in the industry beat freedom out of him and told him to turn his creativity into conformity. I could cry for him. I don't know where you imagine yourself being 5 years from now. But at this moment and in my opinion, you are exactly tje type of creative that the world needs more of. First because you encourage us, your ordinary viewers, to get in touch with the specialness within us. 2nd, you set an example of sheer joy for us to follow. 3rd, you are authentic and original. I follow a handful of beauty and style creatives all for different reasons. I follow you more closely than the others because you are about much more than makeup and clothing. You are about wonder and energy and light and love. I don't have proper words to convey how much you have been inspiring me. Seriously. I have always been one of the different people. I have never gone along with trends, per se. I will take inspiration from here or there, but I will never buy something because everyone else has it. It has to speak to me. You are helping me to find strength in my differentness. And I am enjoying my royal journey. (BTW, my name, in part, means queen.) I am glad you shared this. It shows your humanity. And it is a blessing. It's sad this man has forgotten about the beauty in being true to one's passion. But please, don't you forget.

Because you're outside the box kinda thinker 😉💯💙 Yeshua knew what He was doing when He created you... Devoted to Him and to the ppl around you! Praise God! I would love to see how you celebrate your shabbot btw! It's all kinda new to me (head wraps) and noone that I know even knows what one is alone wears a head wrap - except me! Wow, thank you Melissa. And it's amazing that you wrap even though you are the only one, that's amazing and courageous... Thank you for your kind words. All my blessings to you 🙌. Regarding Shabbat, I can't film on that day, because we are Shabbat observant. It's usually very loud family meals, because of nine people having conversations around the table and if we (my husband and I) are lucky getting some rest. Of course we are going for prayers to the synagogue and that's basically it. I don't know if that helped, lol... But yeah, we are just a normal big family 😅😂. Hugs, Leorah

I've been told I'm "Too much" many times. At first it crushed me, then I began to heal........and see the truth after being told that several times. I have a wonderful friend who, after being upset I told her I was told I was too much/over the top/etc.....she looked me right in the eyes, nodded her head and said, "You are too much." I just looked at her, ready to cry, then she finished, "You ARE too much and that is what makes you, you. That "too much" is your personality, your beauty, your warmth, your caring, your joy....your life! And if people can't handle it, then that is THEIR problem! THEY are NOT ENOUGH! and certainly don't deserve to have you in their life. You are too much and that is one of the reasons you are loved....it is your uniqueness and it's not fake. So I am going to say the same to you, Leorah....you are too much....and it is a wonderful thing! Your "too much" is why I started my head wrap journey and why I first clicked on your video that started it all for me. :D What you said about being cookie cutter is so true. You are unique, beautiful and warm soul. That man and those who followed along with his (what he thought was an insult) simply are not enough and they are the ones who need to revaluate. So now, when I'm told that, I take it as a compliment, laugh and say, "Yes, I probably am.....for you.". :D

I'm just now watching this (watching many of your videos on a sick day!) and this story almost brought tears to my eyes and I see the hurt in yours. I struggle with being "different" all the time, and even will try to dress in a way that is more "normal" aka wear a wig rather than a turban and wear less Jewelry or whatever. But I don't feel like myself and it makes me sad by the end of the day. I'm the only one who dresses the way I do (similar to you in a sense, and as an American Christian, I tend to stand out!), And it is a struggle feeling like you don't fit (ever!). But I'm coming to a point where like you said, we aren't created to all be the same, God is a creative! And your special way of doing things inspires others, as mine does for those around me. Your individuality matters!! And I find you inspiring and beautiful and unique and you make me want to try more things with my makeup and head coverings. Be you and be encouraged!

Your ‘pitch’ idea sounds so beautiful! And that look was amazing, as always. That man was both unprofessional and rude. He would never be able to come up with such colour and life - how can he speak of something like this that he cannot know? You are my new favorite youtuber! If I were to see you in the street and didn’t know who you are, my first thought would be: “Wow, she must be an artist!” I grew up surrounded by artists, and the best of them would stand out for their own unique style, usually as colorful as yours. Whatever happened to that? Now not even artists can be different? Seems like our society is going backwards; we talk about rights, equality, accepting yourself, but when you try to be yourself you find so much criticism. If someone would tell me that I’m “too much” I would take it as a compliment that that person can never achieve my level of self confidence. Btw, I LOVE this wrap style; hope you have a tutorial for it.

Being able to take a Critique is par for the course for any form of art. It gets easier if you recognize that they are subject to their own judgments from their history. Your style is you. And most of your stuff is awesome in my book though I think he was a little right about that one outfit. Mostly because negative space in an important part of any art as it doesn't leave the thoughts in chaos it allows it a spot to rest. that Is why when an art piece is very flamboyant it is put on a white wall so that the art is not taken away by the business of the wall. But the majority of your looks I absolutely love. We all have room for growth and sometimes we have growing pains but it is still growth and worth it in the end. Best to take what he said and see if there are any truths you can learn from and let the rest go. Art is personal and I might see nothing in something everyone else absolutely loves and someone else might see nothing in something that means everything to me. as an example I once did a pastel drawing that to me represented the fact that to a child color did not matter. It was a very tribal feel to it of a white baby nursing off a black woman. To me it was all about how love knew no bounds however to my teacher in the class she was totally affronted and discussed by it thinking i was making a mockery of the whole slavery issue here in the states. Even when I explained it to her she could not get passed the attitude using the excuse that she was raised in the south and that It was totally wrong to which I informed her that I was born and raised in the south as well and that prejudice against white from blacks and blacks from whites is all something totally taught to us by our parents and society. The rest of the students (all much younger than I or the teacher (i was 45 at the time) totally agreed with me and so it went into the art show at the museum and they actually used it as the focal piece when you first walked in the doors it was right there big and large in front of their faces and won a ribbon. Be true to yourself and your art and if someone doesn't like it they are welcome to just move on to something they do like but always be willing to glean any actual wisdom you can learn from them along the way.

Dear Leorah, you are so beautiful- you can carry your colorful style and look elegant. Most of us can’t. Having said that, you are even more beautiful in spirit and heart. Forgive him, he was full of envy, and how could he not be. People who fit into the norm of their industry always try to shove the unique into their box, by telling others to think outside the box, by implication they are saying they are the unique one. Umm, I don't mind telling you that this individual is the definition of "not nice". You said he was nice, but he wasn't. He was a jerk, however "nicely" he phrased it. Here's the thing. This whole "you're too much" and "you're not enough" are twin lies straight out of the pit of hell, and if that's the message he was selling, it's a demonic one. Believe what's true, that God has made you unique and beautiful, and HE is delighted by your beauty, whatever this demonic instrument says. God's opinion is THE ONLY one that counts. And trends are stupid. Denim is overrated and uncomfortable. This guy just makes me angry. No. You aren't all wrong. He's not right. You deserve better than the garbage that shuckster was selling.
