I’m not even finished watching this, but I totally get you on this! You lost everything all at once, and that may not have felt like trauma, but to your brain and body it was a huge shock. Then to have the baby in that new environment, it was entirely life changing.. I can’t believe people tell you not to complain or worry. Just keep being real, this year has been tough and no need to sugar coat that. I feel for you, and pray for your family. 💗

Your feelings and frustrations are valid. Even if someone’s has it harder than you, doesn’t mean your issues are not real. Everyone needs a village around them for love and support, not just about financial support. I hope you can get your visa or your mom can get a visa to see you soon.

I understand you very well when you say about being sad, because nobody from you family is there with you ,helping you with you daughter. When I arrived in Italy after I married, I had two kids, and I was lonely with my husband who work 10/12 hours at day . Was very very difficult when I give birth on the second child ,I don't have anybody to help me , and my wonderful husband did all the possible he can do to help me when already was tired from work . I understand you perfectly when you say that at the party, or every were you go ,you must take you daughter with you . I do the same , and even when I went to the doctor I take it with me ,or even when I worked helping my husband in his business. And now they have 13 years the first and 11 years the second , and here I am strong than more women I meet, and I wish God bless you and be strong and will you see how powerful you will be in the future, looking back when you're lonely to fight by yourself in a country what is not yours. I wish you the best ,you are not lonely ,be strong. Big hug from Italy.

You have come to the united states and you are hard working and driven and learned the language. Good things are coming don't you worry. I would be proud to have you as a citizen and wish I could give you your green card. Such a sweet young lady! So nice to listen to your journey

Yara if you have your EDA card ( work permit ) you are allowed to leave the country. They just make you fill out paperwork when you come back in the US. I also did the K1visa process, and as soon as I got my EDA card I was out of here!!! I couldn’t wait to go back home for a visit. I know how hard it is, but then adding on the pandemic on top of all of it, I’m sorry. I hope you get your green card soon! ♥️

I hope you get all your documents that you need so you can go see your Mom and she can come and stay with you. Things are all messed up because of the Corona virus. I’ll be praying for you. 🙏 I think one of the hardest things to do is to leave your child with someone that you do not know- like daycare. My two children are 38 & 39 but I remember the awful feeling of having to leave my babies to go to work. Hang in there Yara! You’re an excellent Mom and a good person. Soon things will get better for you. Sending a big hug from California.

Aww, Yara, I know things are feeling extremely hard, and no one can truly understand how alone you feel without your mom, without you’re family, you’re support system, especially around the holidays, & jovi’s family or friends events, which can trigger those emotions even more. And I’m sorry that you have to endure that pain of missing you’re Mama❤️🩹 But I’ll say this, we’ve all watched you flourish in the states, and we watch how hard you work your ass off for everything, and how your such a wonderful Moma yourself❣️ I know it’s easier said than done, but please try to remind yourself that you WILL get your GREEN CARD and you WILL be reunited with your Moma, family and friends. God will bless you with that, & there’s no doubt about that! And I can promise that reunion will be the best feeling (after having Myla of course) but you WILL have that moment when everything & that last hurtle of having to wait so long for your GC, that you will burst into tears of happiness & have that feeling of overwhelming feeling of joy love, appreciation & COMPLETION 💜 And you’ll look back at everything you were able to overcome, the highs, the lows, and everything in between, all the hard work you put in & the life you’ve built, the family you’ve created, the businesses you’ve built- And finally the GC that you DESERVE…. You’ll say to yourself “ Thank God” cuz you never gave up, you kept pushing forward, and YOU’LL have everything including you’re MOMA❤️🤍 Yara, I’m wishing nothing but the best for you and you’re family & I personally can’t wait to see the look on you’re face when you’re life & heart is full of abundance💕 It will be so beautiful to see✨We’re rooting for you! Keep your head held high, cuz you’re day is coming… And all you’re supporters will be there to rejoice in that celebration 🥂💫💯🕊 Sending love, light, positivity and blessings your way😌 Xxo- 🦋

Yara, I am happy to hear that gym time is working for you, for your spirits! I can relate to feeling lonely and feeling somewhat on the outside looking in, esp during family gatherings...The more you create your own new traditions while also still mixing BOTH family traditions together- I think it will help with your feeling homesick. Nothing can replace being with ppl in person, but I pray for your Green Card soon! Good things come to those who wait. You deserve it, and I love your videos, You make me feel like a friend. I enjoy these videos of you being real and honest. Jovi, good for you trying to find ways for Yara to continue making USA feel more like "home". It's one thing to not be near family, its another when you CANNOT visit even if you have the time and funds. Try adopting a mixed Christmas of traditions and also, Jovi have you ever thought of learning to speak her native language? I'm NOT telling you what to do, but it may make your family feel more cohesive esp. since Myla will most likely know that language too. Love you Yara you are an amazing and special person.

I'm so happy you found that gym. It gives you some time plus it helps Myla so much to socialize with other kids. That thought that you can be deported but have Myla stuck here is so terrifying but I think Jovi would bring Myla to follow you if that happened so try not to worry about losing her. Can TLC help with the green card? Maybe you need a different lawyer??? A back up lawyer? We do love you and your family and wish you the best. Edit-- as an after thought, maybe Julia's lawyer has better connections than your lawyer. Because that's how the world really works.

She can also get ahold of whoever is in their congressional district along with senators. Have someone help her (can be her lawyer) to draft her paper work up, provide evidence of paper work submited, and then submit a formal letter to said congressman/congresswoman. Not politicizing anything but Trump administration and the crack down on immigration across all board, along with covid, has put a major halt. Fun fact (don't know if the current administration has done away with this) if you sponsor K1, you are now financially obligated for life. The terms were 10 years.

I totally understand what you are going through, Yara. It took me almost a year and a half to get my green card. When I got my green card my mother was in the hospital about tho pass away(also, I was 7 months pregnant). I was able to show her my green card and then she passed a few days later. The hardest part about the whole situation was that she died 2 months before my son was born. She never got the chance to meet him. 😔. I now live with my husband and his parents. My mother in law gets to see and spend everyday with my son, it is so sweet. But at the same time so sad and emotional for me. I get so upset that my mother never got to meet my son, that she didn't get to see him grow and that she is missing out on so much. I love my in laws and my life but it hurts so much. So, I understand how it is that your family isn't there with you and seeing your baby grow or getting the support from them. It has been a little over 2 years now that my mother passed and it only seems to be getting harder for me to keep her memory alive and for me to move forward with things. I know things are good. Just a little sad. Sorry for the long comment but I hope it helps to know that you are not alone and that your feelings are very valid. And that it's good to ask about them.

I immigrated from Sweden to the US 22 years ago, but I did not marry until 10 years later, before I married I would go back and forth a lot on the 6 month tourist visa. But one day I flew into the US and got taken to the side in the customs and they said I had been in the US too often and that I had to go back to Sweden and either be in the US less often or for my bf to start being in Sweden more. I begged and cried to please let me in for at least a little, 30 mins later the guy said, ok this is what we gonna do. I'm gonna give you entry to the US for 3 months.. In those 3 months you gonna have to figure out if you want to marry this guy or if you want to stay in Sweden much more. So we got a immigration lawyer first of all, they can give you so much answers so quick. I asked him if we marry in a month do I have to leave to Sweden until I get the green card, (or the permanent resident card that you get first)? He said, I'm not suppose to say this but if you marry you don't have to leave the country, but you also cant leave the country until you get your permanent resident card which can take a year or two. If I would decide to go back to Sweden after those 3 months I would be stuck in Sweden until I got my permanent resident card. You basically get a permanent resident card after a year or so, then you get the green card after like 3 or 4 years. I decided to stay in the US, so I could not go back home for a few years. I also did not want to risk going to the airport to fly anywhere inside of the US, cause they might see that you are overstayed, even though you are married. I would go on vaccation inside of the US with amtrak, the train. It was the only way until I got the permanent resident card. Point here is, they can not deport you if you are married and have the permanent resident card or greencard. You also can go to Ukraine for up to 6 months, not more. If you go to Ukraine for more then 6 months then they can deny you entry because they see it as if you live in Ukraine and not the US. I have gone to Sweden almost every year before the pandemic for 5.5 months and never had a issue. They probably will ask you when you re enter the US why you stayed there so long. But there is nothing they can do about it unless you are over there for more then 6 months. If you got questions, please get a immigration lawyer, it puts your mind at ease so much.

I hope you get to see your family soon. Even moving across in the same country is hard. I can't imagine not having the option to go see my family especially around the holidays and with a baby.

We love you, Yara, and feel like you're a part of our American "family." We're also so happy that Jovi is a good husband, we thought he would be. It would be wonderful to see your mom come to America for a visit, I hope she can travel here one day. We pray for you and your family. Many blessings to you!

Yara 😢 you are not the only one in this situation. I am in the same as you. I am from Venezuela living here for almost 3 years. I got married with my husband the last year in February , we started the process on May last year . My first lawyer was a mess. She keeps my documents for almost 6 months and she never could fill out because some form that was before with the Trump Government and she didn’t know was she was doing , also she made some mistakes .I fired her . We just could introduce the documents on April this year and I still don’t have work permit . I heard that they are taking time in processing all of the requests. Also I know a lot of people that have getting problems renewing their work permit . Anyway, I understand you is so hard being far away from the family 😢, also this process take long time . I can’t work , I can’t drive and is depressing this waiting.

We came here at the same time , I received my greencard this January . But I traveled to see my family on the combocard , as long as you have evidence of marriage you will be fine ! Check your work permit , if the bottom is saying “ serves as I-512 advance parole “ you are good to go and see your family and return back to the US . And file to expedite your greencard . It’s worth a try , that’s how I received my combocard . And your greencard application won’t be suspended if you have the combocard ! And you always file for I-512 . Всё будет хорошо

I’m sorry you are feeling so stressed out, but please calm down. You will get your green card, it’s just everything is so messed up with the gov. right now. When I immigrated to USA, during the time my documents were hung up also, because of the massive storm. The storm wiped out the area where I was doing my documents and everything was tied up for an extra six months. So please if you want to talk to someone who’s been down this same road…..send my a message.
