On the AIS report at about 2:22, if you crank the volume and listen carefully, you can make out *The Barking Dogs of Jane* as mentioned in Evan's telephone network sounds tapes.

Its cool how you cut those messages out and explained it, I sort of used to do this with my 2 tape boom box back in the day, but Jane Barbe's AIS recordings weren't THAT great... To me she sounded too stiff at times like Irona from Richie Rich.. "my little Richie's in trouble Irona to the rescue". But her recordings outside of the intercept recordings were cool. Thats my girl at 14:10 that feedback bleeding through it just reminded me of Star Trek....it was freaky.. it made me wonder what is that, what's going on over there..am I calling the star ship enterprise?
