🎤 Artist and co-curator of "Skilled Labor: Black Realism in Detroit" Mario Moore tells us a little bit about the inspiration behind the landmark exhibition, on view now at Cranbrook Art Museum!
🏙️ Co-curated with Chief Curator Laura Mott, the exhibition features 20 contemporary artists who have worked in Detroit over the last decade. This group of talented artists examines the portrayal of the Black body within personal and cultural realms. With deft hands, they bring forth a nuanced perspective, weaving together artistry and cultural exploration.
