SORRY for not mentioning the tea! The first several episodes of Patristix were filmed before we launched the channel, and a few times we forgot the crucial details! Don't worry, once we get the next few online, we won't forget again! ☕

SO WHAT IS THE TEA? This aspect of the channel is like James the game design guy from Extra Credits. It makes me feel like we're friends to know some little personal detail, like what tea you like.

@@AaronPLehmann Honestly... I don't remember what I had that day. Tragic. So it was probably just regular old tea!

So good Stephan. It makes you think about how watered down the term "Christian" is nowadays where it's a set of beliefs rather than the aspiration to actually be "little Christs". Love the videos, keep up the great work!

I pray that your channel becomes BIG on youtube within the Christian community and those curious of religious topics. Your content is great! I love how you turned to asking the question are we living like christ.

Thanks! It's definitely the same question. Can't look at what it means without looking at WHO it means and what it means we should be doing! "Bearing the title of Christian is of no use to us unless it is accompanied by Christian deed" - St. Cyril of Jerusalem

This was SUCH a good episode. Love it sooooo much. Intellectual, yet emotional. Heartwarming, yet heartbreaking. Inspirational, yet cautionary. Artistic, yet packed with information. So happy to be an OG subscriber to this beautiful thing you are creating.

Amazing video, not surprising anymore you're a great teacher. I was wondering if there is a way for me to help add subtitles to your video? I speak and Write Arabic and French perfectly, I would do it for free. Would love to see this series have an even bigger impact because it's truly amazing. God bless you and your brother

Thank you for the kind words! As for subtitles: that would obviously be very much appreciated! We'd love to reach more places! You speak English, AND French AND Arabic?! That's an impressive mix of different languages.
@henridib72222 жыл бұрын
@@Patristix yes I do, I'm originally Lebanese hence the Arabic, I moved to France 6 years ago which is where I am currently. I had to learn English because I wanted to learn more about my religion and most studies are done or translated to English and because I was bored and good movies are in English. So yea I speak the 3 languages fluently. And like I said I would do it for free, consider it my donation to the cause.

Just like biblical and historical evidence proves that jesus and his apostles were vegatarians biblical and historical evidence also proves that the trinity, atonement, original sin and hell are very late misinterpretations and are not supported by the early creed hence its not a part of Christianity I pray that Allah swt revives Christianity both inside and out preserves and protects it and makes its massage be witnessed by all people but at the right moment, place and time The secred text of the Bible says ye shall know them by their fruits So too that I say to my christian brothers and sisters be fruitful and multiply Best regards from a Muslim ( line of ismail )

Excellent video, and an excellent channel! I’m glad to have stumbled across it prior to it reaching the 1K subscriber mark. Hopefully I don’t stoke any prideful thoughts in you when I say this, but your channel is going to go big! I know I’m not the first to say so, but the content, quality, and sheer production value in what you’re doing here is unparalleled (specifically amongst the Orthodox Sphere of the Internet). May God bless you, and keep you! In regards to the video itself, I think it best to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs. We must be bold in our faith! “If you think I will swear by the genius of Caesar, then you don’t know who I am. Hear me clearly: I am a Christian.” - St. Polycarp to the Roman Proconsul Statius Quadratus on the occasion of his martyrdom, AD 167.

As muslim said.. the TERM CHRISTIAN HAS CAME FROM UNBELIEVERS and this UNBELIEVERS NOT CHRIST GAVE A TERM for the Disciples.. the term CHRISTIAN in ACTS 11.26 HAS NEVER MENTIONED THAT THE UNBELIEVERS CALLED THE DISCIPLES CHRISTIANS.. I think it is the disciples named Christian for themselves and not from UNBELIVERS.. as what Peter wrote.. "suffer as Christian"
