Another excellent variety guide, I love Yamabukis. I have 2 in my pond from Cuttlebrook Koi Farm, UK. There female parent fish is the most amazing Yam I’ve ever seen. Thanks for posting, stay safe and well

Thank you Steven. I love the fact that you actually have in Europe bred Yamabuki in your pond! Hope they will do very well in the future. Stay safe and see you in the new video

Great information, thankyou very much Sir. I learned that when I saw that the Yamabuki Ogon I picked. It was too yellow and now it is Orange. So now I know to look for them as pale as possible. But I still like the Orange. #19th to give a 👍! 😊 Stay safe and take care Sir. Have a great weekend. #UFK

Indeed as light as possible is what you should go for. Even though it might be a little bit strange when it looks creme/white. Thanks for your compliment and have a great weekend!

Now i understand the red spotting on my ogon's head :) He or she ( i think she ) is now at least 82 - 85 cm and will be 5yrs old this June or July; not certain which month:)

That is very impressive! Nice size for a Yamabuki for sure. Is it a Yamabuki Ogon from the Izumiya Koi farm?

Thank you for making an excellent guiding video. By the way, I know that color food will make the color of yamabuki looks better. However, do you think or have any experience if the color food cause red/orange spot on this variety? Or this problem is caused by gene rather then the color food. Thank you very much.
@Aboutkoi2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, that's a nice compliment. In my opinion, you have to be careful with feeding color food to Yamabuki Ogon - they can become darker yellow/orange plus indeed you can get the orange spots you mention. I would prefer to not feed them with color food. if you try, use it gently. Good luck!

Não entendi nada que foi falando, mais só os peixes que foi mostrado pra mim já fala tudo, isso sim é Koi de verdade.

I've always wanted the yamabuki ogon and karasugoi but i cant get it first its hard second its rare and lastly its expensive
@Aboutkoi3 жыл бұрын
Hmm, maybe you can try and find a small Yamabuki Ogon? Like 10-15 cm in size? That will be affordable normally

@@dippifiedwanderer9043 aha, well oh well it is a nice breeder with really a lot of variaties. That makes it also interesting for dealers to go and select there. You can really mix a box with Koi with almost like any variety.
