Earlier this year, Above & Beyond performed some of their best-loved songs acoustically as part of a 15-piece band, across four sold out shows at London's famous Porchester Hall. The response from fans was overwhelming and led to two sold-out nights at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles in October, described by Billboard Magazine as "one of the finest and more memorable shows in EDM history."
Above & Beyond partnered with THUMP on the production and filming of the London shows to create a concert film that captures the Porchester Hall performances and the story behind the acoustic project. The songs performed at Porchester Hall also form the basis of the "Above & Beyond Acoustic" studio album, which was recorded in the spring and summer of 2013 and features a 24-piece orchestra.

Wow. Tonight is the first time I have listened to this in over a year. I love the song, because it was a song one of my previous significant others sent me when we were getting to know each other. It didnt end well, and on no fault of his. He was good for me. I...on the other hand...was not good for him. He deserved ...so...much...better. Every single time I tried to listen to this song the last year...I couldn't even make it 30 seconds without crying. Months have gone by and I figured I would try again tonight. Something different happened. I didnt cry. I smiled. I remembered how much I loved this song, and not because he showed me it. ...but because these are absolutely talented musicians and this song speaks to my soul. It also showed me that I'm growing... I'll always be growing. I learned some of the hardest, but most important lessons after the relationship ended. On how to treat people. On what not to do. How not being honest can be hurtful to ...not only others...but myself too. I feel thankful. Thankful for him. Even though I will never see or speak to him again... I'm so thankful he showed me what a good person is and I feel like God showed me how awful I was ...and how badly I needed to change. I should have just... been me. Not try to create someone who I thought he might want me to be. . He was good for me. Because he taught me how to treat people. He taught me that honestly is so important. The most important. That...I can lose others if I lie. I'm thankful he was in my life at the time that he was. He was good for me. Now I can be good to others. 🖖🖖 ...and waiting for him in Narnia... I will be. ♡. Wow.
