That would be my last concern in a tornado situation. If you get struck by lightning in a tornado, maybe the man upstairs is trying to tell you something.

What happens when the concrete in floor breaks ??? Does the shelter still hold on

We require at least a 4" concrete slab. We then use RedHead Anchor Bolts to mount the TwisterPod to the concrete. This means there is 4600 lbs of pressure per bolt, and there are 12 bolts. That’s 55,200 pounds of pressure that keeps that unit securely in place.
