I have another crazy covid story. My aunt was going through several medical issues, so she retired at 60. She worked for the VA, but worked from home. She got every vaccine update and never had covid as far as we know. She moved to Cincinnati and we were planning to have her live in an independent living senior community, but she had another medical emergency so we realized she needed assisted living. After tons of research, my mom found a facility. After 3 weeks there, she got Covid. This place wouldn't test her and hadn't tested any of the other people in there, even though my aunt had remarked everyone was sick. This place costs $6500 per fucking month. And they wouldn't test her for covid. And then she kept saying she couldn't breath, and they said she was fine. Finally I put my foot down with my mom and said, "she's an adult saying she can't breath and needs to go to the hospital." Now she's in the ICU on bipap and the Dr. said her lungs are the worst he's seen since the first covid wave. Another story....my mom's neighbor got covid and felt bad but thought she'd wait it out for a day before going to the hospital. She fainted in her garage and was there for hours before being found. Airlifted to the hospital and died on Xmas day. We aren't being told how bad this wave is....but trust me, it's fucking BAD. Please be safe and take precautions.

I am so so very sorry and I feel all your pain. I lost my dad on 12-1 due to Covid . His lungs as well were destroyed by Covid he also has COPD which is a deadly combo. Covid came and just destroyed all his lungs capacity. I will never be the same again and I hate this country for their Covid denial ! My dad couldn’t breathe 😢😢
