I was born in East McKeesport Hospital , 3 blocks from Harry J. Krummel's Harley shop. The first breath I took was of coal dust . My God do I miss home.......My family dates back to the mid 1700's.

While I have grown up and lived in Southern California (Inland Empire) all my life, I was born in Pittsburgh!! At Shadyside Hospital (where my mom worked as a CCN) on June 6th, 1992. My dad was attending Carnegie Melon during this time. I have made a few return visits to PIT, in 1997/98, 2008, and 2010. I really want to go back soon. I may decide to move back and live there again in the future. Who knows?

I moved from this city 20 years ago after living there 10 years, i loved it than and i love it now, didn't forget anything about it, not its streets, areas, shops and restaurants, a lot of my friends are there and I'm still in contact with them.. i am far away now, but i do dream and wish to come back one day. I miss driving on its streets

I relate. My grandparents lived in Pittsburgh (Mt. Washington) and I would visit for weeks every summer. As a boy coming from Wyoming, it offered me a wild experience so different from my Casper, Wyoming upbringing. I can still name many of the lesser known downtown buildings (as my Grandpa was prone to quiz me). So many memories come back watching this video. I cannot count the number of times I walk from my grandparent's home in Chatham Village to the Mon Incline, explore the shops at Station Square then walk across the Smithfield Street bridge to spend the day downtown - everywhere from Pt. St. Park to buying Pittsbugh-themed tee shirts at Kaufmann's before catching the 41E bus back up the hill (Yes, I still remember that bus number, even though it's been 30+ years.) Even though I never called Pittsburgh home, I still feel that city pride when I come across a video like this.

Excellent Video! I spent a few months in Pittsburgh last year. I went there from NYC, so in comparison - it was pretty sleepy! I moved to Philadelphia, and all these people who try to compare Philly and Pittsburgh... Philly is an utterly miserable shithole compared to Pittsburgh!

Absolutely amazing. I saw a few videos people did about Pgh, but this one was by far the best. Loved how you showed not just the downtown area but the surrounding areas as well. I'll be sending this video to a friend of mine that's thinking about leaving Texas to move to the 'burgh. Again, great job! Ever think about doing a video like this on the neighborhoods in Pgh? Showing Southside and Shadyside and such on weekends just to show how busy and packed these areas can be?
