I love Hoda because she is kind, tolerant, and smart. I think she’s ready to move onto something new because she’s the type of person who wants to grow. She probably feels there is no more growth for in her current position. I admire her honesty with herself and follow her instincts. She understands a career or job isn’t everything. Family has become more of her priority and she wants to savor her experiences with her little girls. I think she will look back one day and will realize she made the right decision because she will have many real memories with her love ones. Good luck Hoda. I know you will be happy.

Thank you for sharing Ms. Kotb. Thank you for doing this interview. Thank you for sharing the details, the processing that took place leading up to your decision. This is such a significant conversation because so many people face this too in their own way at their own level. You, finally, allowing yourself to go for it. You giving yourself permission to go forward with your decision will help other people figure things out for themselves. It will inspire them to make their own decision and to move forward with their longing choice. It’s also so important to point out that you did take the time to contemplate, to allow for it to process, to plan as much as you can…when we do the preparation as you did, having done that on a soul level we are ready and know …and then our mind and body join. And we are all in. I will share this interview with the women in my support group. Thank you🙌💝✨

She is so brave to listen to her heart and quit her steady job at this age. So Many young people can envy her strenght.

I stopped in the park to watch a wondrous sight once. I turned to catch eyes with a stranger to my right, marveling with wide eyes at the same thing. Hoda was the stranger I shared those brief moments with. Just a dear lady who I am certain will continue her parenting, working etc. to still so much fun over the years.

I'm in my mid sixties, and have been through many seasons in my life...some great...some just marking time and place...some not so great...and some so horrible I almost didn't make it through. In some cases, God called me from a season before He called to another. I entered a season of preparation, purification, clarification. In all cases, whether I could see it at the time or not, God's grace was sufficient unto me... His lamp was a light unto my feet that lit the path a step at a time. God always shows up right on time... always answers our prayers (even if we don't like the answers)...and always gives a little extra so we know it was Him. If you're a person of faith wrestling with indecision and what comes next, hold on because God will come through.

Love this and love Hoda. But I wish women could feel complete without a partner. It’s so depressing to hear all the wonderful things this woman is doing and seeing and experiencing, an incredible life that she created. Yet I still get the sense it won’t be enough without a man. Maybe I’m just projecting my own thoughts as a single woman in her 60’s who has rebuilt her life after the sudden passing of her partner 8 years ago. I’m so proud of the life I’ve built. But when I see others who still don’t feel complete without a partner, it makes me feel still not enough. Anyway, best of luck Hoda. You are a beautiful human being❤

I'm 66 and have been traveling around Europe slowly the past 6 yrs. I've lived alone most of my life aside from a short marriage and raising my daughter. Boyfriends along the way but even then I still lived alone. The past 15 years definitely alone. Maybe they aren't saying they need one but would prefer one, for companionship, human touch as simple as a hug can be a great thing. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. My own partner died 24 yrs ago. It changes us yes, buy also strengthens us if we allow it. ❤

I think that wanting a partner is human nature and not necessarily a bad thing. I know for me, also in my sixties, I would not be interested in a partner if my husband passed before me. I am quite the introvert so that may have something to do with it.
