The whole year Anjunadeep and the deeper genres in general are reeling me in.. telling me that I don't love trance anymore like I did in the 2008-2014 era. I've become older, slower. Then Above & Beyond drops by again with their ABGT milestone show, putting me back on my feet: I have never stopped loving the genre and I'm still full of butterflies and layers of crazy love. I realise I picked my role in this life, like in a RPG game, and that's being part of all of this in one way or another. It's an endless rollercoaster I can't do without. It's a race against time tho, hoping these guys are still performing when I have kids or when my young nieces are age-ready to party it up at an ABGT/A&B/Anjuna event so I can "brainwash" them, because... Good For Me has been one of my all time fave A&B tracks (whether in og or club form) that I play getting ready for every milestone, but always felt it was too far back in the catalog to ever get to experience live.....so being right there in that crowd, dead center about 10 rows back in disbelief that they were playing it in the middle of one of their best sets (IMHO), let alone realizing it was the finale and an absolute 🔥 respray....seeing everyone around us just lose it and let go at the drop. I'm a "button pusher" at events in Warsaw and Birmingham, UK. And I have been to ABGT200, and listened to Above & Beyond since TATW274 in 2009. Discovering them, was the best thing that has happened to me. I went through a hard breakup before COVID, and A&B songs kept me going. I can give you my objective thoughts about this set, but as the views grow on this, I want you all to reply to my comment as I think this is their best set to date. Period.

I’ve been listening to the guys since early TATW, personally my favourites are ASOT 900 and 500 which I still listen to regularly. The more I listen to this one it’s definitely in contention as I think it has the same feel to them. I wasn’t a fan at all of 500, not one I’ve went back to very often. Roll on December for the EP.

The entire stage production has levelled up to levels I haven’t witnessed before, with the long screen panel covering the stage. Gives off something. And the fact we are not getting a new album makes me sad 😢 quicksand is my favourite!

Brings me back to when i first saw a&b live, electric forest 2017. What a magical night/ festival. They played day one. And it really set the mood for the whole festival. Even a couple of the drops it started down pouring! Swept me off my feet! Ive been listening to them since 2012. I am so thankful to been able to see them twice live. Can't wait to go again! I went to my first show and festival ever when I was 27....it was abgt250 and it changed my life. I met my wife because of the boys. I have traveled all over the world because of them. I hadn't done any travel like that until I started going to their events. I have an amazing group of friends four of them were my groomsmen in the wedding. ❤❤❤
