What a brilliant concept and treatment of true human situations! Kudos to Rituporno Ghosh, one of the very best directors of our time. This movie is thought provoking and beautifully crafted. It is not for the illiterate blinking baffoons, who make ignorant comments, like the negaive ones below.

ঋতু দা , আমি তখন অনেক ছোট বয়স ১০ কিংবা এগারো , বর্তমানে ১৯ থেকে কুড়ির পথে বহমান। অনেক এর ইচ্ছা কেদারনাথ অনেক এর গোআ , মানালি , কাশ্মীর । আমি ব্রাহ্ম নাহ হিন্দু ব্রাহ্মণ , জন্ম জন্মান্তরের বিশ্বাসী , তোমার চিত্রাঙ্গদার মত এক জন্মে শত জন্মর উপলব্ধি পাই না । তবে হ্যাঁ , যদি আবার জন্ম পায় ঋতু দা ওই জন্মে তোমার পা দুটো তে জায়গা দিয়ো। তোমার সাথে এক সাক্ষাৎকারে তুমি বলে ছিলে তুই মানিক দা কে টুকে ছিস ; তোমার সেই কথা "ছেলদের বাবার মত দেখতে হয় " সব সময় মনে থাকবে। শুধু সিনেমা বালা না তুমি একটি রুম ক্রিয়েটার , যেই রুমের আম্বিয়েন্স টা কাশ্মীরের সৌন্দর্য কিংবা নেপোলিয়নের বলীয়ান দেহ, কিংবা ভীমসেন এর অফুরন্ত শক্তি কেউ হার মানাবে💖। ভালো থেকো ঋতু দা। আমি তোমাকে খুব খুব মিস করি

Manipur mentioned in Mahabharata was most likely different from the state Manipur as we know today. Prof Nrishingho Prasad Bhaduri, Mahabharat scholar says ancient Manipur was more in the central-south coast region. So, Rituporno Ghosh may have been right.

1. The Manipur here is NOT the Manipur state. 2. The Mahabharata you know, the Indian one, is NOT the ONLY Mahabharata. Even Ramayana has different variations over the world, to the extent of the country Cambodia. It's just that Indians one are mainstream.
