I first heard you sing this a decade ago, then fortunately I was able to experience a little Hawaiian culture firsthand a few years ago, and fell in love with the islands and the people, and remembered your singing. Jerry Santos gave us a tremendous gift when he wrote this song, and you do him great honor in how you sing it. Mahalo nui loa.

Wonderful how well she translates the melancholy and sadness of the lyrics into her song. Simply beautiful. It seems to be a song written by Jerry Santos and Robert Beaumont as "Ku`u Home o Kahalu`u" (with love of my home of Kahalu`u).

Grew up listening to "Olomana" this song has been part of any native islander of Hawai'i life it seems? So when I heard Abra's version of this song my first feeling was nah? But after a few minutes, I got to like her style her voice and sweet heart aloha Abra!! Malama pono!! (take care)
