They used to play this song all the time at our little roller skating rink when I was kid, I always thought it was sung by a woman, lol That was over 40 years ago :0

I am pretty sure I requested this one. I wanted to see your reaction to how high he could sing. I had to show my kids the video to prove it was a guy singing.

I love the new B&W look! I really enjoyed seeing you outside too but that probably had more to do with being in quarantine. P.S. You're one of my favorite channels yet hardly ever show up on my page. KZbin is screwed up!

Whoa! I always thought it was sung by a girl! Love the androgynous vibe tho. Reminds me of tripping around San Francisco at 19 with a friend......we thought we were so grown up! 😹

This one holds up quite well all these decades later. Perfect for roller skating as others have noted. Break out the disco ball and turn up the strobe! Whatever happened between Kristy McNichol and Leif Garrett anyway, eh? Corduroy bell bottoms anybody? [grin]

I sing this at Karaoke ever chance I get..😁😁

that sound you are referring too during the beat is called a natural harmonic. It is done by lightly placing your finger over the string above the fretboard of the guitar and picking the string.

When I was in high school, me and my girlfriends started hanging out with a group of boys in the city. I was not a city girl and the guys decided this song was written for me and would play it when we were together. Brings back great memories with some great friends. ❤️

Nick and his family moved to British Columbia, Canada and no he's not a one hit wonder! After some rough times and wanting a solo career, Bryan Adams became lead singer but only for a short time, Bryan was 15 and I remember Sweeney Todd playing at my grade 8 dance, super guy! I've known Nick and his family since the 1960s, I went to elementary school with Nick's brother Steve, and met Bryan Adams in 1977, have kept in touch with both over the years! Nick lives about half hour from me.

Flashback! had forgotten this jewel. Thanks. Good reaction.I wonder if you'd be willing to try something unique like Lindsey Sterling, the dancing violinist that also ft. all types genre collabs. She has 13 mil. subs, 3 Billion views! You can go with no vocals Like her Artemis series ( always pick official videos) You can tell which are Artemis by the long white hair she wears in them. Or choose where she ft.vocals like " Shatter Me" ft. Lzzy Hale. THanks, I enjoy your reactions very much.

You hit it on the head. Something you’d listen to while you’re out cruising and it came on the radio. It’s not something you’d pay money for or go to see in concert. We called songs like this “ bubble gum music “.

This song from was kind of pop song (although that era .....oooeee). Anyway I think you’ll like it And you still owe the 312 a reaction... ok, I’ll hit play

Here's a recommendation or two I'd love to see....Radar Love..a banging rocker by Golden Earring in 1973....kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJeYZIOdZ6aemrs. And always love the Brothers Johnson, Strawberry Letter 23 from the late 70s...terrific guitars and lovely.
