Was Lot supposed to go with Abram? Wasn't Abram's calling in leave his father's household? The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. Genesis 12:1 NIV

BibleTalk.tv Thanks for the reply Mike. My question was about Lot going with Abram. Doesn't "leave your Father's household " mean don't take any relatives, like Lot, with you? Lot seems to be a thorn in Abram 's side, plus he's the father of the Moabites and Ammonites.
