How to Fix 2nd Gear Grind in your Civic Type R

I did just this, didn't fix anything that is related to 2nd gear problem but made an improvement in the overall driving feeling

The CDV was also used on the AP2 04+ s2000. But it was to reduce driveline shock

Why did they even install a delay though? Surely there must have been a reason for them to do it??

I will be doing the delete on a 9th gen civic si and and maybe another type r within a week or two. I will definitely record a how to for those.

About the clucth preload. U mean need some freeplay or need firm without freeplay..i found in yt said that need to adjust till no free play

Did this work in the long run? I just had my clutch pedal to the floor, and 2nd gear would not engage until I shifted to 3rd. Clutch pedal to the floor…

Doesnt make sense why Honda would make you have to take out that valve out of the slave cylinder to "fix" 2nd gear grind, I havent experienced any 2nd gear grind yet thank goodness car is stock 2021
