Where are the carabaos man, is there a part-2 of this video? The cute girls dancing are ok, but you this is the Carabao Festival in Pulilan, by the way this is very near Plaridel where I use to do flight training in the Plaridel Airfield. Thank you for making videos of your stay in the Philippine. God bless

Nice video Chris. I hope you had a nice fiesta food. Hey Chris if you're into nature you can go to Tagatay there's a volcano there inside the lake. It's only 3.5 hrs away from manila. Batangas is also close to manila that's where you can find the beaches. If im not wrong the bus fare is around 150-200 pesos.

A Brit in th Philippines Chris Carter You're welcome. If you're into snorkeling you could go to Anilao Batangas but it doesnt have white sand beaches. I found this blog, beach get away under 1,000 pesos www.pinoyadventurista.com/2014/04/beaches-near-manila-for-less-than-1000.html If you're planning to go to either Tagaytay or Batangas it's better to go on the weekends to avoid manila's traffic.

Hi Chris, Dante has a beautiful home. I enjoyed the band and the baton twirlers; they did a good job. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be able to see what the Carabao Festival is like. Being of Filipino descent, I find your videos extremely interesting as I've not had the opportunity to visit the PI yet. Cheers 8)

As you Brits say Brilliant ;) What a gentleman to invite you back to his home to share in the festivities & food. Those days are long gone in the west where people invite you back & share. A beautiful home & compound. Was he originally a music & band teacher? A great memory for you Chris.

Once again what you've experienced is a Filipino hospitality. Even though he didn't know you personally he invited you in his place as a guest. That's how we Filipinos are friendly. Fiesta [ feast of the Patron Saint ] is part of our Culture and Traditions. Hope you could see more and roam around the beautiful parts of the Philippines. Also I want to remind you with the food your taking specially the viands [ulam], fatty[oily] meat or food, maybe it is one of the reason you have a bad stomach just like the other expats when they first came to the Phils. to stay there for good. Have a wonderful day!
