Totally agree on the Tipping topic. No need to force a customer to give tip, that too a fixed percentage. It should remain a voluntary service. If one's getting less than the fixed per hour charge, he/she should ask his manager not the customer.

I got TransPRK done at 50k in Vizag, the procedure was completed in 20min and i had slight blur for 2 wreks and my eye sight is perfect after that. Maybe it'll depend on the city, hospital and the staff

I didn’t do from eye7. The doctor these days is only speaking about SILK - and they haven’t even started doing operations for SILK when I contacted them 2 weeks ago, which made me not trust the things he was saying.

I paid for contoura vision and they did normal lasic and they claim they did contoura vision. I found what they did after learning about the overall procedure of contoura vision. Regarding the -0.5, it normally happend when your eye measurement was not taken in correct way (ex: Done fast or done on same day.) other reason is that you moved your eye during procedure but it wont be in your case as contoura laser follow your eyes movement.

It definitely wasn’t the eye movement because I was still - I just didn’t like that in the operation theatre, people were almost sharing machines at the same time - you were not operated individually which is what I expected. And yes - they measured on the same day. That’s why I think the -0.25, +0.75 is remaining on my left eye. But I am still happy because previously my vision was -6.50, +1.00 in both eyes 🥲 I really believe it’s all luck. You just cannot be sure of 100% professional work in our clinics here. The doctors, the attendants, the administration - all is ridiculous. They charged 99,000 INR for contoura vision, but we have to buy the 100 INR black glasses separately from the pharmacy - what fucking chumps 🥲

SMILE surgery is better than LASIK. Always prefer tier-1 cities like Mumbai, Bangalore etc for these type of surgeries.
