I am Canadian,but my parents are Tuscan. They elwere born in Lucca and Massarosa respectively. Because of them, I can speak, read and write in Italian. I miss them dearly. Italian food is the best! I learned to cook from my parents. I'm so appreciative of that. I've been to Lucca, Roma, Pisa, Viareggio, Arezzo, Siena, and Firenze. Beautiful places, all of them... and the food? Incredible! My mother used to tell us kids that Italy is the garden of Europe and Tuscany is the garden of Italy. Buon appetito!

Osteria dell'Enoteca is incredible! The memory of that steak and a nice Brunello is making want to go back very badly now. Edoardo and team have been taking care of us at their wine bar Enoteca Pitti Gola e Cantina for years. Shout out to Zeno for the many laughs and wine and Shannon for taking care of all the wine club members from abroad. Great food/wine and VERY knowledgeable and friendly.

The whole experience blew our minds but since we didn't have any other fiorentine steak or barolo before, we didn't have anything to compare it with.
