Thank you so much for your kind words😍 I worked a lot on sound, touch and balancing the weigth. But maybe more important is the sound imagination which leads to a specific movement☺️

Great playing! And also a great recording and a great set up! A lot of recordings don't have enough of the bass coming through but you have achieved a nice recreation of the natural balance of sound here. Thanks a lot!

@@PianoExplorerHungDo my two cents: there is a trend of making the video shiny with color effects, only showing the hands. I like your version better because we can see more the technique beind the interpretation Next level would be to add tips in description to explain what you do :)

Hi Hung Do, thank you for the performance. In deed it is a good one. Would like to hear from you, in your opinion, which 3 pieces are the relatively easy?
@PianoExplorerHungDo Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! Hard to say because every piece is composed in its own way and has its own difficulties. In the A section I would say Jester‘s Jig is quite feasible, even though it‘s not so easy to play all notes even. In the B section probably „Wind in the Willows“ and in the C section „A distant star“, even though creating an atmosphere with this piece is difficult.
@PianoExplorerHungDo Жыл бұрын
What pieces did you choose?
@packyee Жыл бұрын
@Piano Explorer I have chosen C10 as it is very interesting in terms of its melody. I personally like A1, but it seems like very technically demanding. I'm considering B2 as well. Since I'm going for Performance Grade, I need to work on C10 and the other 3 more pieces.

For a2, the trio part left hand is it supposed to be staccato?
@PianoExplorerHungDo Жыл бұрын
Oh I don‘t intend to play it staccato. It‘s more somekind of portato. Imitating a Cello playing the bass line, either portato or pizzicato.

Wow impressive playing, highly talented! ---greetings from singapore! would you say grade 5 2025/2026 is more difficult than 2023/2024?
@PianoExplorerHungDo2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much!😍 I would say the new syllabus is slightly easier in all grades. Also grade 8. But of course to play an „easier“ piece in a good way is difficult as well😁
@yoyowong5377 Жыл бұрын
hi, I chose a1, b1, c1 I am wondering are they difficult?
@PianoExplorerHungDo Жыл бұрын
Good choice! All 9 pieces are more or less on the same level. Of course there are different difficulties in an baroque piece as Cimarosa and a classical Sonata like Haydn. And to play a Jazz piece is different from playing C3 which is concentrating on sound and atmosphere. Depends on where your strengths are.
@janebarlow8007 Жыл бұрын
How do you know what notes to play when it says tr above the notes. I'm trying to learn the piece but dont understand what I should play and you go too fast for me to see! Thank you
@PianoExplorerHungDo Жыл бұрын
Hey Jane. ABRSM has some recommendations for trills above the notes. Trills are actually a philosophy on its own. But in general it‘s an ornamentation with the main note and the note above. In baroque music and early classical music I would start the trill from the upper note in most of the cases. And then you decide how much time you have, how many notes you want to play or do you play a free trill and if you end with a grace note. As I said, a philosophy on its own😅
