Nice video. Pulstar Music also used in Dunia Dalam Berita, TVRI flagship news program at that time, other that two station, i don't know who used that music. Anyway, Philippines news intro feels like action Drama intro. Something I can get from TV Patrol is, the news anchor is fixed, and yeah most of them are seniors, and there's considered as Legendary news anchor.

Here are some updates: This 2016 intro is actually has undergone a number of changes. 9:43 is probably a shorter intro, or it could be a sign that not long after, Ted Failon left TV Patrol. Used during 2016-2020 10:15 Ted and Noli are already leave the newscast, replaced by Henry Omaga-Diaz and Karen Davila. This is also a temporary replacement intro during early stages of Covid. @coffemansky The musical theme TV Patrol use since 2010 is one of the most iconic and dramatic news themes in the world and it's also very similar to TV Patrol World's theme. But there's so much more to it! Gari Communications produced the original "Allegro" news music package in 1992 for CBS 5 (KPIX-TV) in San Francisco, CA and they only updated it 3 times until 2005. Why the ABS-CBN network didn't used all of these updates from Allegro and thought it was much better to just re-arrange and modernize the original theme from Series 1, even in the most recent years?? What were they thinking?!? What's your opinion about this?

It was too iconic to change it anyway. The themes following the use of Allegro by Gari Communications also used the iconic tune in Allegro, and by that point, TVP was already too famous to change its tune. The current theme also used 2 elements of Pulstar By Vangelis. They are the clicks you hear at the start and the end of the current theme, and also the "dun, du-dun, dun, dun, du-dun" you hear at the start were also from Pulstar. The current theme also used 3 elements from the 2006-2010 theme of TV Patrol World. Them being the staccato strings you hear on the current/the main melody of the 2006-2010, the random but somewhat relevant beeps you hear on the 2006 theme, and also the part before the main focus of the theme song (the tune) with the diminished arpeggio.

@@semasityByMF171 well instead of the tv patrol they had English Newscast in ABS-CBN it's The World Tonight(1986-1999),then in 1999 they go on ANC and on 2020,the shutdown of ABS-CBN they change the newscast in Kapamilya Channel instead of Bandila they simulcasted The World Tonight that's how i said it.

@@semasityByMF171 well abs cbn had "balita ngayon", which was one of their first newscasts since abs cbn returned in 1986 (they were forced to shut down in 1972), though it only aired for a year since it was replaced by tv patrol. they also had "the world tonight", their english language late night newscast, which was first aired between 1966-1972, then it was re-aired again after the return of the network in 1986. unfortunately, there is no found footage of any of these older newscasts. apparently, even the abs cbn archives only has full recordings of tv patrol from 1989.
