I enjoy learning new things and I have decided to get myself a motorbike,after a hiatus of 32 years and so I’m not going anywhere near the sort of bikes I used to have,such as the 2 stroke racers that could effortlessly make me feel like I was going to hit the ground due to a heart attack,because those things were scary! So as a person who doesn’t have a single delusional thought that makes me believe I have even 1 tenth of the agility and dexterity of my teen & early twenties, I am going to get a low priced but hugely celebrated bike with a perfectly adequate 125cc engine though it is actually a V twin! Which is cool and it has the kind of looks which could easily be mistaken for a Harley Davidson, not just my opinion but the same said by the numerous people that I have watched reviewing the bike! And all that said, I learnt that the bike has a CBS braking system, which I have never heard of before but then again why would I if I haven’t owned a motorcycle in 32 years and thanks to this great summary about the various braking systems that are available on modern bikes, I can now confidently share my new tip bit on braking systems for motorcycles with anyone who may be interested! Sweet bruv blat blah.

Unified braking system too. Drum brakes are more sealed covered up so less water can get in them when riding in the wet.

Agree to that. However, due to sealed cover up the heat generated due to braking is not dissipated fast and this may cause inefficient braking sometimes in drum brakes.

do you happen to know if ABS and CBS are mutually exclusive systems or if you can have an anti locking CBS? because to me coming from the perspective of a car driver which my car has independent breaking on each of the 4 wheels with ABS as well I'd love to know if maybe we will get a bike which distributes the applied breaking to both wheels while preventing any locking up of either wheels
