The character of Bettina is well written. She has her own angst, but she was always in the periphery of the main action. You could almost forget her existence in the storyline, but every now and again, they add drama about her character, so she's never actually forgotten. Which makes this twist super effective. The Easter eggs the writers kept putting in the scenes were incredible. I had an inkling she was the killer during the Ling-Stephen wedding scene, but I wasn't quite sure. First, the color of her dress. It was not the same shade of red as everyone else's, which implies she was part, but always slightly apart from the family. Almost like an unconscious choice and declaration of her being outside the circle. Then her almost manic reaction to the foiled wedding, it was unreasonable, yet it was still within the parameters of her character. Kudos to the writers.

Not really, it mostly felt like they decided she was gonna be the killer like last minute. The writers didn’t wanna be “predictable” and thought it was a good idea for a child to be a murderer.

An unexpected villain, an intriguing tale, and a talented cast. Belle especially delivered a flawless presentation from an emotionally stunted young woman to one bursting with life. Belle has a remarkable talent and wears sincerity and affability like second skin. I see why she has a huge online following; people can't help but like her. Belle is clearly the force behind her love team. Donny is not a bad actor but he’s just not in the same league as Belle when it comes to emoting a character. I hear he’s feeling the sting of standing in her shadow and is considering teaming up with Kathryn Bernardo. I say he should go for it. Kathryn is more he's speed. Though I dare say he won't fare any better teaming with Kathryn. With Kathniel, she brought the “nice” he the “swag” and talent galore; what will Donny contribute? I judge Belle's performance to be on par with Andrea Brilliantes, Julia Montes and Angel Locsin; she can succeed on her own without the excess baggage. I enjoyed this teleserye though it could have done with fewer love team gimmicks. Thank you ABS/CBN and everyone that worked tirelessly to make this teleserye a reality.
