There's a saying in Tagalog, " Huli man daw at magaling, nakakahabol pa rin." That applies to Stell's journey as one of the members of SB19. He may have been last to release his own debut single, but he's nonetheless, the one sitting in the front seat among the five members now. His popularity has risen even more when the Maestro himself, Mr. Ryan Cayabyab invited him to perform in his birthday celebration concert, one of his own compositions, Sometime, Somewhere, that he penned for Basil Valdez and later revived by Regine Velasquez. Then, another popular local musician, Mr .Louie Ocampo, did the accompaniment when he sang a solo performance during their Pagtatag Finale. And third, he got invited by Mr. David Foster himself to do the solo act during his David Foster and Friends, Manila leg concert tour just recently, where he became more like the highlight of the show when he was asked by Mr. Foster to sing Celine Dion's version of All By Myself, which he delivered splendidly, earning praises from Mr. DF. To be recognized by music greats because of his undeniable talents is already a huge accomplishment for Stell. The stars seems to align for him starting in the month of June, which incidentally, is his birth month. A star is born, that will bring pride to the Philippines in the art of entertainment worldwide. And the name is STELL.
