Ang laki ng problema ng DepED na sumasalamin sa patuloy na pagsadsad pababa ng antas ng basic education sa ating bansa at ang dahilan, walang magawang kongkretong programa ang mga naging DepED secretary. Bakit? Dahil lahat sila hindi mga educator, lhat sila mga nag-aral at nagtapos sa mga prestigious elite school at higit sa lahat, lahat sila POLITIKO. Hangga't hindi tayo tumitigil sa pag-apppoint ng mga politiko sa kagawaran ng edukasyon, magpapatuloy ang pagbagsak ng sistema ng edukasyon sa bansa. Bakit kaya parang hirap na hirap ang executive branch humanap ng isang educator para mamuno sa DepED? At bakit gustong-gusto ng mga politikong wala namang alam sa sistema ng edukasyon na pamunuan ang nasabing kagawaran?

Yung pag aayos ng DepEd building hindi yan isang snap lang may proseso kasi lalo na pag budget need ng BIDDING may procurement law na dapat sundin.

Pbbm shld hire only the BEST career teacher as the only consideration for the post of deped sec. An undergrad course in Elem Ed., MA in secondary Ed., Dr in Educ. No politician as Sec of Deped pls.

The name should be changed to "DEPARTMENT OF BASIC EDUCATION", since it only covers K-12, not higher education.

Increasing salaries of deped people, other govt emp will only give rise to never ending inflation. Business will automatically increase prices of their goods. Lol

Dapat i-integrate ang pagtuturo ng Spanish starting preschool hanggang senior high school para ang mga anak at apo natin ay lilisanin ang bansang Pilipinas bago pa pabagsakin ng hypersonic missiles ng China at lumikas sa Argentina o Chile para hindi malipot ang ating lahing Pilipino.
