Abschied LOFOTEN und dann zur KURSÄNDERUNG gezwungen! 2023 #15

Es wird Zeit, Abschied von den wunderbaren LOFOTEN zu nehmen und so setzen wir Kurs SÜD und segeln von unserem nördlichsten Punkt, den wir mit Andenes erreicht hatten, ganze 129 Seemeilen in einem Schlag Richtung Süden. Wir segeln diesmal an der westlichen Außenseite an den herrlichen Inseln der LOFOTEN vorbei und erreichen Ramberg. Eine kurze und spannende Passage bringt uns nach nur 2 Tagen Aufenthalt wieder an die geschützte (Innere) Ostseite, wo wir noch den bekannten Ort Nusfjord als letztes Highlight unserer LOFOTEN-Tour besuchen. Nusfjord hat sich sehr gelohnt, nicht nur dass wir am Fjord Eingang das königliche Motorschiff, die Norge, vor Anker sichten, sie ist nähmlich die Yacht des norwegischen Königshauses und mit dem dänischen Dannebrog und der niederländischen De Groene Draeck eine der letzten verbliebenen königlichen Yachten in Europa. Nein, der kleine Nusfjord serviert uns atemberaubende Aussichten auf gigantische Felsformationen, einen kleinen malerischen Fischereihafen und man liegt dort lieblich geschützt wie in Abrahams Schoß. Das Dorf selbst ist ein Museumsakt und man verliert sich in Zeit und Raum, kann sich kaum Sattsehen. In Nusford bleiben wir jedoch nur 2 Nächte, denn wir wollen auf die großartigen Färöer Inseln und sehen für uns ein ideales Windfenster für die circa 600 Seemeilen. Es sollte unser erster langer Schlag in dieser Größenordnung werden. Die Betonung „sollte“ realisierte sich dann nach nur 15 Meilen in From eines Flappens am Unterwasserschiff. Das scharfsinnige Gehör meiner Bordfrau Marleth hat ein seltsames Geräusch in ihren Ohren. Meine Wenigkeit will es erst nicht wahrhaben, zu sehr bin ich auf Kurs und Ziel Färöer konzentriert. Nach eindringlichem Drängen meiner Bordfrau werfen wir dann sicherheitshalber einen Blick mit der GoPro unter Wasser und sehen, dass sich die Gummimanschette des Saildrive abgelöst hat und gegen den Rumpf flattert! Ein eigentlich nicht so wirklich großes Problem, dennoch will man keine 600 Meilen in diesem Zustand fahren, das Ding könnte ja, na ja, was auch immer anstellen. Also entscheiden wir uns, die 60 Meilen Richtung Bodø abzudrehen. Unser guter Freund Tarek, auch ein österreichischer Segler, den wir schon im Ålesund kennenlernen durften, hatte uns schon Wochen zuvor über eine tolle und kompetente Werft in Bodø informiert und so ist schnell entschieden, da wollten wir natürlich hin um das ganze fachmännisch reparieren zu lassen. It's time to say goodbye to the wonderful LOFOTEN and so we set course SOUTH and sail a full 129 nautical miles south in one go from our northernmost point, which we had reached with Andenes. This time we sail on the western side past the beautiful islands of the LOFOTEN and reach Ramberg. After just a 2-day stay, a short and exciting passage takes us back to the protected (inner) east side, where we visit the well-known town of Nusfjord as the last highlight of our LOFOTEN tour. Nusfjord was very worth it, not only that we see the royal motor ship, the Norge, at anchor at the fjord entrance, but she is the yacht of the Norwegian royal family and, along with the Danish Dannebrog and the Dutch De Groene Draeck, one of the last remaining royal yachts in the area Europe. No, the small Nusfjord offers us breathtaking views of gigantic rock formations, a small, picturesque fishing harbor and you can lie there in the lovely shelter of Abraham's lap. The village itself is a museum act and you get lost in time and space and can hardly get enough of it. However, we only stay in Nusford for 2 nights because we want to go to the great Faroe Islands and we see an ideal wind window for the approximately 600 nautical miles. It was supposed to be our first long shot of this magnitude. The emphasis “should” was realized after only 15 miles in the form of a flap on the underwater hull. My board member Marleth's keen sense of hearing has a strange noise in her ears. I don't want to admit it at first, I'm too focused on the course and destination, the Faroe Islands. After urgent urging from my board member, we took a look under the water with the GoPro to be on the safe side and saw that the rubber sleeve of the saildrive had come off and was fluttering against the hull! Not really a big problem, but you don't want to drive 600 miles in this condition, the thing could do, well, whatever. So we decide to turn 60 miles towards Bodø. Our good friend Tarek, also an Austrian sailor, who we had already met in Ålesund, had informed us weeks before about a great and competent shipyard in Bodø and so we quickly decided that we wanted to go there to have the whole thing professionally repaired . hi to you friends, yes it was a special feeling to watch and almost touch the Royals when passing by so close to us 😂 it’s a pleasure for every seaman’s eyes to see the traditional boats and rules and uniform etc. 😍 I would like to have their Captains Hat 😂 By the way, when will be Tomas & Rose Marie’s starting time going into water season 2024

Schlins kenne ich. Ich komme aus Koblach. Lebe aber seit mehr als 40 Jahren in der Schweiz. Ich habe ein 45 Fusser. Sie steht in Kreta. Ich werde erst nächstes Jahr loskommen. Wie sieht euer Reiseplan aus, habt ihr einen? Bin gespannt auf weitere Filme. Bis dahin alles gute und einfach genug Wasser ums und unterm Boot. Natürlich gute Winde und wenig Schwell. Bliband Gsund.
