Wow! I just noticed that at around 2:33 in the video he uses his ring finger to intentionally mute the sixth string before hammering on again just a few notes later. That is some crazy dedication to achieving the sound you want. 99.9% of guitarists would just let the string ring out until they did the next hammer on. That is brilliance.
