You need cream of coconut. Which is a mix of coconut cream and sugar. The one that everyone uses comes in a can. But if you take coconut milk/cream and add a quarter of its weight in sugar and gently heat till the sugar dissolves you should be good. From here you can adjust if you want it sweeter or reduce the sugar

Coconut cream is non alcoholic, just blend coconut cream and pineapple, do the same recipe but no alcohol and you good

Its a can of Coco Lopez. Coconut milk (thinner andwithout suger) and creamed coconut ( usualy a solid block) is white. Coconut cream is slightly off white and opaque

That depends on how you like it! The sweetened cream of coconut we use has a lot of sugar in it, so I would imagine you need a quite a bit. However, I would recommend that you start by adding a small amount to the drink when it's in the blender, taste once incorporated and add more if you need to. Remember, it's always easier to add more sugar than it is to take it out. Let us know how much you use and how it turned out!
