This feels like a Spider-Man -ification of Batman younge, less financially secure, all their friends are potential enemies, lives with a sole mother figure.

The interesting part about Bruce "not being rich, but still has money" means that he has the potential just by being who he is; even if not rich, he can climb the ladder if need be, but he only gets what he needs and stays close to the city. The reason why Prime Batman didn't show those talents pre "parents incident", is because he was on a environment that didnt challenge him.
