You doing amazing. It is very much muscle memory. Keep practicing. In class I would do a new dance every week for around 6 to 8 weeks.

@@LearntolinedancewithRichard Muscle memory. Yes, I am a musician, I play the piano, there is muscle memory there too. I have been learning to dance for 1.5 years now. This probably helps me remember things quickly. The role of the teacher is also very important when he shows, repeats and explains many times. Just a question. I have noticed you start on left leg. If a female to we do our leg work from the right. Asking as I have done rock n roll and females always start with our right foot😊

Hi Lisa, so in line dance everyone dances the same steps. So in this dance everyone starts with weight on left and travels to right. We dance in lines. If partner dances then moves are generally mirror imagine. In line dancing some dances start right foot leading and some start left foot leading. Hope that helps
