Duane - Although it is a simple song, there is a lot that can be done with it. The pedal steel is a complicated instrument - using both hands, both feet, and both knees - so take your time and focus on getting a clear bell-like tone from your notes. Steven - thanks for the kind words. I checked out your version of Mansion on the Hill and both you and your father did a great job. There are so many arrangements of this song that it really lends itself well to beginners as well as intermediate players. ( PS - nice boots!) Ben Price - San Antonio

@@ve3cda Thanks mate, glad you liked it! I agree, it is a great song to play for players of all levels. You can play the simple melody or spice it up with your own workarounds to the melody. Glad you like the boots. I want to get a proper pair of Texas/Tenne made boots in the future...for now I just have a pair of Italian snakeskin boots. Good cowboy boots are hard to come by in England.
