This was an incredible match. Something that gets overlooked is how the girls in the stands showed up really just to cheer for Oikawa, and didn't really care about volleyball. By the end they're applauding the opposing team, and have an appreciation for the effort everyone left on the court.

Doubt anyone is gonna see this but I think I kind of understand why I like it so much. We see how hard hinata has practiced since he was in junior high, and we understand just how bad he wants to follow the little giants footsteps in going to nationals. So seeing all this effort not be enough to win them the game is really rough. Especially since Hinata couldn’t hit that last ball, the point that lost them the game. So when Kageyama blames his toss to Hinata, Hinata sees it as himself not being good enough. All the hard work he put in was worth nothing, and tossing to him was a decision Kageyama shouldn’t have made.

You guys are right. In a way, when you lose a match that meant so much, you grow numb. Because their adrenaline was still high and they were still in battle mode, eating helped to break them out of it and their brain could come down from that high and process all that emotion, so the tears immediately come out. This was such a simple but beautiful scene.

The first time i watched haikyuu , i didn't understand much (Eng is my 3rd language)so i didn't connect to the show that much and now that I've grown in age and also understanding, and watching the show 2nd time with you i connected so much with the show , every second i feel connected . 3:11 I mean technically yes, but it wasn't done on purpose, Hinata just knows how to do a normal spike right now 5:00 you'll see just how amazing Iwa is, he is truly one of my favourites ever, each time I rewatch I find more reasons to loooove his character, especially in the manga, but that's like that with every character 8:23 I alwaaays feel for their middle school team, I mean Kunimi wasn't even enjoying a club activity, one he surely got in because he likes playing, and in three years he didn't laugh!! 17:16 he is really the top and yet he never got to the top of even his prefecture (except for best setter in middle school), it's so sad 20:50 food is a huge metaphor in Haikyuu so you may not be so far of in your interpretation of tasting defeat You are absolutely right, Haikyuu is very realistic even when it comes to the results of the matches, I can't wait for season 2, I looove the first arc of the season
