LE Mont Saint Michel, the highlight where Normandy ends and Brittany begins. We have now visited the monastery mountain for the 3rd time and are always impressed by this sight.
We took the shuttle bus from the adjacent campsite directly to Saint Michel.
Did you know that you can also visit Mont St. Michel at night? The monastery mountain can be visited around the clock. However, you should know that the abbey is NOT open at night and the last shuttle bus will take you back to the campsite at 10 pm.

Toll Ihr Beiden, wir können Eure Begeisterung verstehen, waren vor ein paar Jahren auch dort und ebenso begeistert. Man muß halt früh aufstehen, ansonsten ist man im Massenstrom. Weiter so und viel Spaß

Danke 😁🙏🏻. Da wir jetzt schon 3x dort waren und alles zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten, kann ich sagen, dass jede Zeit seinen absoluten Reiz hat, weil der Klosterberg irgendwie immer anders wirkt. Klar, wer dem Massentourismus entgehen will, sollte so früh wie möglich da sein. Leider hat sich diesen „Geheimnis" schon rumgesprochen 🙈😂. Wir waren diesmal morgens um 8:10 Uhr am Klosterberg 😁. Da waren schon die Schulklassen da 😂.
