I like how Shinobu was just explaining to Zenitsu earlier in this same episode why our lives flash before our eyes in the moment before we die, to try to find a memory that could save us, then Tanjiro uses that exact method to find his father's breathing technique to save himself and win. It made perfect sense for her to bring that up to Zenitsu, yet tied in perfectly to Tanjiro using it later.

19:35 They are still ranked by numbers, Upper 1 to 6, followed by Lower 1 to 6. Lower Five means ranked #11 of the Twelve Kizuki, basically next to last.

There are 12 total Kizuki's split between the upper and lower half, ranked from strongest to weakest: Upper 1 Upper 2 Upper 3 Upper 4 Upper 5 Upper 6 Lower 1 Lower 2 Lower 3 Lower 4 Lower 5 Lower 6 Muzan is not one of the Kizuki, he's above all off them. Also if you guys already haven't started watching Season 2 or the movie, you can skip the movie. Season 2 is just an extended version of the movie with added scenes.

Watch the first episode of Season 2 for some background/intro, then just watch the Mugen Train movie. It encompasses all of S2 except for a few extra scenes. This seems to be the consensus among fans as the ideal way to watch the Mugen Train arc.

When this episode came out the Author of the Manga made a public comment about it, the ending scene specifically of course, saying that they couldn't have been happier with how it was executed, the art, animation, VA, even down to the song, was just so perfect it was exactly how they envisioned it. They kept rewatching it, ended up watching it around 30 times and were in floods of tears!

Great reaction! This is one of the episodes that usually hook viewers in for good and you can see why: the music, the animation, all the feelings combined... truly a masterpiece! About the Twelve Kizuki question, it's easier to understand if you think about it like a power ranking list going from 1st to 12th but divided in two teams, him being lower 5 means he's the 5th by strenght in the "second team" so basically 11th postion out of 12 available. I love Inosuke's "NANI!?" and the weird noise he makes when realizing he was tied up, but you cut it noo! This episode is amazing and holy shit I almost cried, got such goosebumps though and it was so beautiful. With the animation and music and Nezuko's first time speaking as a demon (though it was probably her inner voice) and seeing her blood demon art, which I love, and the way they worked together with Tanjiro using it, also unlocking a new ability! The build-up and hype! The bond will never be severed!! 4:55 You forgot I guess haha, she can't die, only from the sun or nichirin sword or poison or Muzan. I love when Rui sliced his sister, it's such a shock and I did forget that she wouldn't die from it as well haha.

The power level of the 12 moons (12 Kizuki) is at follows: - the moons are divided in two groups: lower and upper - each group has 6 members - the upper moons are more powerful than the lower moons - the most powerful demon is the Upper One So the clasification is (from more powerful to least powerful): 0. Muzan 1. Upper One 2. Upper two . . . 6. Upper Six 7. Lower One 8. Lower Two . . . 12. Lower Six So you see Rui is at the botton of the cladification. Really not that powerful.

For your question about the demon ranking, the twelve is sperated into upper 6 and lower 6. So the the lowest ranking would be lower 6(weakest member) then lower 5(second weakest) and so on. After lower 1, next is upper 6. Upper 1 is the highest

See... even if you aren't anime lovers, some animes just hit harder than a lot of tv shows. This & Attack on Titans. Maybe cause it blends action with heartfelt stories. Not to mention sometimes it's harder to predict what's going to happen next. Demon slayer, specifically, only keeps getting better!

Fantastic reaction! This episode is one of the episodes this is one of my favourite animes. A great blend of action and emotion. Im sure your patrons have already explained it, but basically this is basically how the 12 Kizuki work, so lower 6 would be the 'least powerful' of the of lower kizuki (though still tremendously powerful), and lower 1 would be the most powerful. Of the upper moons, again, Upper 6 would be the 'least' and Upper 1 would be the most powerful

Although you can skip the movie and go to the seasons, the chronological release meaning watching the movie first, then first episode(especially) and the season remake would have a MUCH greater emotional impact than if you just watched the season episodes first. So I suggest watching the movie first, THEN the first episode.

Since you will be getting there before long. The first movie Mugen Train has a series and a movie version. I recommend watching the first episode in the Mugen train arc series, and then go to the movie. The first episode gives a little inside to one of the main characters of the movie. Besides that, the movie and series versions aren't that different.
