Josh Doig is an amazing shout! As the only American who supports Sassuolo (lol) I can confirm watching him before he came over to us and the end of last season (I can't watch Serie B here) he is a gem. Plus Scottish so I would imagine he would enjoy a trip to England. And like his teammate Lauriente (AMAZING irl and on game) they are to good for Serie B.

Great episode, congrats! Same problem here with tactics not saving formation changes. Playing now with a 442 variation. Anytime I want to change to a 5 back, I manually have to change the formation in the tactic. It works for the rest of the game but will never save as a 5 back formation.

Sebastien Szymanski would be such a good fit next season, I dont think your wingers output is good enough for when your in europe, If he hasnt made that big move yet, or he isnt getting much gametime at his current club I would 100% bring him in to the club, especially considering his european experience.

Tammy in the series is very similar to IRL...I've watched him so much in Serie A and he plays the exact same here. When it comes to the goal his head is lethal and his feet have been cut off. It is shocking how poor he is with the ball at his feet. But in fairness not many players are scarier when they are going up for a header.

I know it would get boring but I could see him up top for you in every save lol as I mentioned in other videos I've been binging your content and you use crosses more than anyone I have seen. And that is not a criticism it is just very real to be honest. I try to play as real as possible but I can say I know I might have 1 or 2 crosses a game lol it is by far the least real thing I do in any save haha and when I used to watch other folks on YT they were a lot closer to me than to you. I enjoy watching/listening to the way you play.

I think you should sign max kilman for cb as you mentioned you could do with one in the last episode, he is left footed, good on the ball, strong, has a good amount of pace and can play all 3 cb positions. I also would consider looking at hugo bueno for lb, great crosser, young good dribbling, and still young.

When it doesnt allow you to change formation, you should be able to change the preset to custom (rather than balanced or wing play etc). If its already on custom it should work if you toggle it to something else then back to custom!

u can change formation or tactics during the match. I used to think that you can’t but I realized that the ball has to go out of play for the new tactic or formation to reflect.

Mine is definitely bugged. I change formation in the team management screen and it just doesn’t do anything. Says it’s a 4-3-3 but it’s still a 5-2-3.

@ Copy that, I understand. Mine seemed to be like that before and it was very frustrating. I noticed about couple weeks ago that it works but not immediately, only when the ball goes out. Also, I have to do it several times before it reflects in the game. We definitely need a patch for that. I’m enjoying both this save and the RTG save, keep it up!

you could try using right stick switching more when defending, moving players to mark or cut off passing lanes whilst sprint jockeying(L2+R2), its worked out for me and is honestly easier than it seems.

and i mean doing this in the midfield, its worked when i have high numbers in midfield but since youre using a 5 back youre probably better off switching between 2 pairs of defenders next to each other to close off passes and control the space in the box
