Imo Jason Aaron’s Thor run, specifically the Gorr the Godbutcher, was one of my all time favorite runs. But I haven’t read much of him asides from that. So I really don’t know how I think of his writing. I will admit, I felt like out of the three absolute titles, this is one feels ok. I like it a lot as far as Krypton goes, because we never see much of that, but as far as Superman on Earth goes…it’s ok

Although I feel like your complaints are basically “I don’t like strong female leads” “I don’t like that she has a lesbian hate cut” (homophobic much?) and yeah there is reality in what Jason Aaron writes.

@@Ben-qn1tf thanks for the feedback. I love strong female leads. What Jason Aaron does isn’t that. His women characters are interchangeable. Observe. Lois could be Lara, Lara could be Lois. These are not women. They are men inside female characters. Go read his recent Sword Of Conan issues where Conan is trying to help a witch. The witch is rude, ungrateful, bitchy and though Conan saves her life she is mouthy, arrogant and has to be shown saving Conan. Conan just stays quiet and acts like a fool… CONAN THE BARBARIAN! At one point in every story he writes a man HAS TO SAY how brilliant or what a genius the woman is. This is lazy writing. You have to build up the character and then we realize the character’s attributes. Admittedly I think these writers today are being forced to put a female character like this right in the middle of every story. Bottom line I did not buy the book to see these characters upstage or humiliate the main character, the hero of the story. That’s what the villain does.
