Good rule of thumb guys, measure dry ingredients like sugar, flour, cornstarch etc in actual measuring cups. And measure wet ingredients such as water, milk, oil etc in the glass or plastic container (that has the measurement printed up the side) with handle.

Actually, if you use the first batch, you could stuff it with things like a real strawberry. Or some peanut butter, or Nutella 😋 it compliments the mochi well since it’s not too sweet! It’s how we make mochi in Hawaii!
