In South Wales, the town of Pontypool is a very small, close-knit community where everybody knows everybody. However, in September 2002 when 15-year-old Jenna Baldwin went missing, officers launched one of their largest ever missing persons inquiries. The true circumstances of Jenna's disappearance had detectives wondering if Jenna hadn't actually run away, then why else would she have disappeared? Indicators were starting to emerge that there was a problem and not all was as it seemed.

Moms, be careful whom you marry. And if your teen doesn’t want to stay at home for seemingly “no reason”… there’s a reason.

As a person who ran away from home often I would have to agree. Children don’t want to go away from an environment that is happy and safe.

I never considered running away from home, because that would have been so painful for my parents. No matter how turbulent our relationship was at times, I loved them. But I did stay out from after school until bedtime, and they barely saw me on weekends. I had so much fun with my friends, and didn't want to miss out on anything. But definitely pay attention to your teenage children. Whether they stay home more than I did: If a teenager seems to quite suddenly have become depressed, timid or developed anger issues for "no reason", find out what the reason is. If they don't want to talk to you about it, get them to see a mental health counselor.

I'm of the opinion Mike was SA her. She left the house to stop it. She planned to tell her mom. It's unfortunate that she told him of her plans. That sealed her fate. When revealing a secret the abuser shouldn't know. It is much safer that way.

Why are they pussyfooting around the fact that Jenna was likely molested by Mike? She, due to trauma, rebelled and left the house. She told Mike was going to tell her mom. He freaked out and murdered her. If you're going to divulge a secret please don't tell the perpetrator.
