Protest on University campus in Australia against the Israeli assault on Palestinians, are also very peaceful and there has as yet been no reason for police to be involved. There were issues outside Uni protests that brought police but I believe they were instigated by political disruptors - probably extreme libertarians or payed criminals. Jewish people did confront the protesters in orange t shirts that said something about hate - stop the hate maybe. But that message seemed ill advised; the pro Palestinians were protesting about a lack of love from Israel. I feel like the protesters need to address the possibility of bad actors that hope to paint black the objectives of protesters, so that there will be more of you and less of them.
