She gave the best review of Taka and One Ok Rock. The band said they wanted to make music with meaning and impact. The lyrics to most of their songs are so deep- in this song the long pause was meant to draw you in and the next time he starts singing he mentions silence. Nobody has a voice like Taka. He sings with passion and his range is incredible. That’s why I don’t like others covering their songs. It’s just not the same when kpop singers, especially, do it because it just doesn’t resonate with me. Kpop and JRock are miles apart. If Taka isn’t singing it, it just doesn’t work. Those songs are written for him and his voice. I love this band SO much and the energy and passion with audience involvement is so good!

As some Sidenotes, as far as I know: This performance was in honor of Chester Bennington, who was a model for Taka. Which is probably one of the reasons for the moment of silence. It is said that the two Bands even had plans to work together. Chesters death hid Taka really hard. This also explains why he was so extremly emotinal during this performance. Secondly the concert has startet later then originaly planned, because Taka was sick on that day. Nevertheless he didn't want to disapoint the Fans and still perfomed while sick and what at a performance if i may say so.

No, this is false and I really wish people would stop spreading it in the KZbin comments. The moment of silence was NOT for Chester. This song is about letting go of a bad relationship. A song with such lyrics is not something you would dedicate to someone you respect.

I don't think that this information is valid. He's very sick during this performance. So taking a lil bit longer pause is like a good rest for him, too. Also, Taka's most emotional performance is after his bestfriend Haruma Miura take his own life. Haruma is also the parts of the "H" letters in C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h.

No this is not for Chester. He respects him for sure but please stop dragging his name here. The timeline of this song can prove that your assumption is incorrect. No hate here but please let’s stop this.

Taka's parents are famous singers in Japan. His younger brother Hiro is the vocalist of a rock band called My First Story. He has a pretty unique voice. Their father is famous for his husky voice. Their mother has a beautiful voice.

and Taka make a song called "Ending Story" right after "My First Story" being recognized?? damn, his brother should be offended because it's like an answer to his brother's band's name😂 that's what I think back in the days, because I know they both have so much issues together in the past, but now they're being one of the closest brother I've ever seen.

One Ok Rock's song mostly have deep messages, but some of them was written in japanese, so you need to search for the translations. These are some of my recommendations of OOR LIVE performances which mostly in english: - Stand Out Fit In (orchestra 2018) - I Was King (orchestra 2018) - Wasted Nights (Eye of The Storm tour 2020) Heartwarming acoustic - Wherever You Are (ambitions 2017) --> it's perfect for wedding and married couple - A Thousand Miles-Vanessa Carlton covered by OOR (Yokohama 2014) Heavy stuff with crazy explosive energy🔥 - Mighty Long Fall (Yokohama stadium 2014) - One by One (Saitama Super Arena 2015) Waiting for more ONE OK ROCK! Thank You!

Great reaction and I love OOR, too. I would recommend "Stand Out Fit In" music video first, then live version. Also, the 18Fes version of "We Are" is phenomenal. They sing with 1000 18 year old kids and it hits so hard!

If you haven’t done WhereverYou Are Ambitions tour. Taka’s voice is just incredible with just an intimate setting. His voice is the most beautiful in that version of the song. I know you will love it.

Hello! I just found your channel and have been watching your One Ok Rock reactions, really enjoying :) I love that you guys check out different types of music! This is one of mine and many people’s fave OOR performances, chills every time! For another great one If you can please check out Push back live performance from Eye of the Storm! Also my surprise to hear mentioned Monsta X! They’re one of my favorite groups too along with OOR :) Please correct me if you have any reactions to them bc I didn’t see any, and you may already know but they have 2 full English albums. I definitely recommend checking out Blame Me, You Can’t Hold My Heart, Middle of the Night. And if you want to give a Korean song a try ‘Beautiful Liar’ it is very rockish Their main vocalist is incredible and also has an English song I would recommend bc the lyrics are beautiful, and he has several English rock covers: Kihyun-Where is this love kihyun- Believer Cover, Natural cover

Wow, you went down a long list of great J-rock, but you didn't mention Band Maid, the hottest J-rock band around, currently, and well deserved. But, I agree about One Ok Rock being top three. Also check out Wagakki, the most innovative 8-piece band ever. I'll leave a couple links to those two below: Band Maid Domination: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5PcgnaAo5ulj8k Wagakki Band: Kyoka Suigetsu: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3vGg5icj6lqh80
