Reading into it too much. Both soaking with sweat and one of them lost by the smallest of margins. I'm sure they are buddies but if I've lost 11-9 in the 5th and my opponent is giving it the big one, then I just wanna get off court. Don't want a chat and don't want a hug. Just gave it my all and lost 11-9 in 5th.

Hammamy is also non-sense tonight. Playing against 17-yo girl, she was very harsh and critical. She has excellent skills and physicals, not mentioning she is good-looking. But tonight’s on-court behavior makes people turning against her, makes the game not enjoyable to watch. That’s why ElSberbini is much more respected player.

Tinne definitely looked exhausted at the end (if not injured - I agree that failure to move on a drop shot in the first looked suspect) so it was awesome to see her fight through to the very end! Orfi a force of nature to be sure.

Orfi is an insane talent. She reminds me a bit of Asal (for the right reasons) in the men's game, in that she seems to have all the attributes to become a dominant #1.

Gutted for Gillis. Orfi did incredibly well, quite the scalp for her. I wouldn't have thought Gilis would have struggled physically against Orfi.

The No Let at 5:01 seemed a bit harsh - Gilis hit the ball quite close to herself and the second bounce was at the front of the service box. I thought that was closer to a stroke.

Orfi's basic strategy is to push the match to a 4th or 5th game and then her youth and endurance will win out. The strategy was played to perfection. Gillis needed to win that close 4th game. She was spent after that...
