I would love to see another ghost challenge to dude... The spec ops thing sounds like playmaking city but macro disaster. I think the reason why uthermals raven/hellion has been able to maintain phase 1 of the challenge is less due to unit synergy but more a macro synergy with one being a mineral dump and the other being a gas dump.... uthermal struggled even on 5 base to get that ghost count up... Adding ravens that is even more gas... I could see the advantages though as well... particularly in the TvP match up the interference matrix, into emp into seeker missile will probably make even collosus cry with mass ghosts...Also just being able to say "I see you bitch" *snipe* to those observers would probably feel pretty bloody good. The raven harassment, nukes, while you drop turrets in other bases, could be super solid too.... I think Uthermal just wants to do this so he can get those impossibly efficient games.... Maybe his mineral dump will just be having 7 planetary fortresses out the front of his base.

I think consistently EMP'ing the CC when you drop or nuke is the go to.. even if it means you waste a lot of its cloak time. It'll either force them to make less PF for orbitals or spend $$ on ravens which are just glorified detectors against ghosts (EMP). On another note, amazing this series went so far. And excited for the next challenge.

I think in the second game, you had a chance to defend the push by EMPing his orbitals with the drop. He didn't have ravens and cloaked ghosts could potentially clean everything up eventually. But def a very good attempt and mech is really hard to beat with this.

Some challenges ideas: 1 - One base all in to GM. 2 - StarCraft 1 units only to GM, don't forget that you can't lower depots, like you did in the 2v2 challenge. 🤣 3 - Skyterran to GM, air units only. 4 - No upgrades to GM, not a single upgrade can be research. 5 - The annoying caster challenge, you need to announce on chat everything that you are about to do, your opening, unit composition, what upgrades you are researching, when you are about to attack, drop end etc, also you need to make comments about what your opponent is doing, all in the in game chat 🤣

Annoying thing seems like a 1 game challenge or else it would be boring and hard to do Skyterran already announced No upgrades -> What about proxy tech? But upgrades at home allowed using another tech building: Like build 1st ebay proxy but 2nd ebay can be at home to upgrade

It's definitely understandable that this challenge series has just about run its course, but I am looking forward to whatever you've got in store next. I will say, I'm also looking forward to seeing some of those attempts with the 1v7ai. Hopefully you can attain a world first victory, but either way I'm hoping to see some of the more notable attempts. EDIT: That'll show me to be a couple days behind, you've already got it. For Science! to GM: you have to go tech lab first and second military building must be an EB, and all research buildings must constantly research until you have everything. I want to see +1/stim timing attacks. For added points, make an armory right after your factory and FC after starport too.

In the last game, the reason the toss looked there is that his probe scout saw no barracks in the main. It would be logical to send out probes at that point to looks for proxies right, and that would be a predictable location for a reaper proxy as its close to the jump in ledge. Maybe once youve floated the rax u can proxy the ghost academy itself back a bit?

I think new challenge is fine... I mean if you want to do another Ghost-centred challenge, why not go to the opposite end of the spectrum and do Ghost/Mech to GM. -You could make it more educational than pure entertainment -You would have a tonne of flexibility and options -You could look for a very high ghost army build within the challenge or make apart of it as a late game thing - You could actually do some insane fun builds.... I think Bongcloud, Penguin brothers timing attack into quadropule is the stuff that Uthermal fans and your own smiles are made of ....

1v7 A.I. is not easy but doable as Terran. Rush tanks/planetary fortress wall. Then transition to banshee harass. They will choose to defend their base before attacking you. So every time they leave their base attack them. Build up a base defense of sieged tanks and liberators with fortress and AA turrets. They will perform suicide rushes but you should be able to hold. 7 A.I. will mine out the map quickly. So you only need to survive 4ish attacks. Remember though, harassing their base to make some of them go home is the key to victory vs A.I. I swear on all that is holy that I've done it

Split armies with cyclones and approach from 2 or more sides. Retreat behind a layer of mines on one side and give chase on the other. Don't let their units engage effectively. Feels weird offering advice to a pro. Like, you already know things about this game I couldn't even imagine, but that is my idea.

Heliums are mech units, but Hellbats are considered Bio. That's why Medvacs can heal Hellbats (but not Heliums), and why Hellbats can be snipped

Cyclone/mine will be great. But I think it’ll be hard versus Protoss b/c of observers. You might have to allow yourself to add in a couple of Ravens against Protoss.
