You had better think twice about your trust and comfort around bison. Bison are very unpredictable. They can turn on a dime to even their owners..Ranchers will tell you that. Bison have been known to gore equipment, their owners. Respect them; keep your distance.

I’ve been around a lot of bison. They don’t turn on you without reason. If you understand them you’ll know when they aren’t happy.

@@YanasaTV we raise hundreds of bison. They will even charge at a familiar vehicle or equipment during my a routine check. There was a bison owner that could pet and ride one of his bison for years. That bison turned on him and gored him to death in front of the vet and friends/neighbour’s. After 7 years of age their mind and temperament is known to change. Those words are from experienced bison producers and bison vets. A flicker of reflection, their sense of a change in smell, any sudden movement, even the phase of the moon or should they ever feel threatened can affect their behaviour. You do you. My opinion, what we and other bison producers have experienced, suggest to be more cautious…and… perhaps, are over confident.

@@sharonwatson4085 I’m not saying we haven’t been chased. But there was a reason for it. While it seemed unexpected at the time, it was justified to the bison. They are not random creatures.

What gorgeous scenery on this drive! The herd in in the wildflowers and lush grasd was amazing. It gave a small feel of what our prairies looked like years ago.

I had the opportunity several times in the boot heel of New Mexico of encountering Buffalo. Very impressive and i was actually more intimidated by them than the Bears. Great footage 🤠
