Valorant Ranked right now is a case of "Which teams Clove plays better that game" in my experience. It's always a 27/7/17 Clove Vs my 3/19/4 Clove. She's just too impactful, having multiple lives, better Duelist kit than a Reyna and post-death impact, why would I bother playing Brimstone when Clove exists these days

I mean Clove is good but the other controllers (besides brimstone) have a ton more versatility. But if you’re not good at smokes (most of ranked) clove is certainly the best fill

@drawingfan9024 used to enjoy Omen, but they took away his one-ways which made him unique. Now why bother with Omens smokes when you can get the same, with arguably more accuracy with Clove? And Vipers had FAR too many nerfs to be viable in low-mid elo, at least in my opinion, without lineups and setups on every map/site

@@Nathan-og7pi Adding on to the other person’s comment, Omen’s outplay potential is insane whereas Clove is more focused on a one-dimensional aggressive playstyle. Clove is easier to pick up, yes, but other smokers have more skill expression

This is like every single game of Valorant for me. Either no one comms anything at all, or it's useless toxicity and nothing useful. I think I've had one game in the last week where everyone communicated well. People just don't realize this game is 50% communication.
