"how much breath do they have?" Beatboxers have a "sound pallet" for inwards breaths and another for outwards breaths. This not only means they can double the amount of sounds but also don't have to stop to breath in like singers do.

I forgot to add that it's possible to make sounds that exhale air from the mouth while inhaling through the nose, or the opposite. An example being lip rolls that require air to enter the mouth (suck in air through the side/corner of the mouth, experiment until you get a farty zipper sound) and lip bass where air leaves the mouth (blow a raspberry), both can be done while exhaling or inhaling through the nose.
