I always worry about big lots and knowing there are a couple of great cards that those cards arrive damaged and worthless rendering the buy pointless. That said I have had pretty good luck. Recently I bought a 130 card Dodger lot full of rookies, stars and inserts and I won it on the only bid of $9.99 and was under $40 all in shipped. NICE snag SAM!

The Super Bowl Signatures cards (Randy White auto) come out of multiple different Panini products over multiple years. There are regular cardboard ones as well. I have both Steve Atwater autos, a Neil Smith, and Terrell Davis. I'm still looking to add all the Broncos ones.

True collector and seller can be one in the same. I’ve sold cards throughout the entire time I’ve collected! I most definitely don’t keep 100% of the cards I get😅 I wanted a few select cards from this lot, and will likely sell off or trade quite a few to help cover the cost!

@@Vikings95 I didn't technically mean you couldn't do most, but most what I call TRUE collectors just collect - Some will sell cards they pull but don't need for their PC just to try and recoup whatever they can but don't just buy products or cards to sell. Then there are collector/sellers who do collect but do also buy cards, lots, etc..specifically to sell to make $$$ not just like the TRUE collectors that only sell what is leftover from what they already bought for ripping. Then, there is what I call the trash/scumbags of the hobby that buy up cards/boxes/lots/etc... just to sell above market and screw hard working collectors out of $$$ and care nothing about the hobby/sport just making as much $$ off of collectors as rhey can. LOTS of covid invaders fit in this latter category as do a lot of the "ME" generation. To me Scumbag scalpers/secondary market sellers/WhatFnNoters/most breakers are in this last category as well. I KNOW you collect. If you were only in it for $$ you would've sold some of your hits (like my Patty downtown) for as much $$ as you could get. But.....buying lots like this is clearly not just trying to build your PC so you must want to try and make $$ off of it, so I put you in that middle category collector/seller. 😂

@@srjwildcat3589 My category of collector is pretty broad I guess - I have collectors vs flippers in general, with Flippers not partaking in any aspect of the hobby, just flipping boxes for more than they paid (not actually interested in the cards themselves, just profits), where collectors are interested in the cards, mayb buy and sell cards to fund their hobby, etc... but actually have some PC items that they collect. pretty general, but covers the bases haha I do buy and sell, but I obviously have quite a bit of attachment to many cards (including that Mahomes downtown I know you love!) and many other pulls I've had throughout the years!

@@Vikings95 Well, we certainly agree on the most important ones- You are polite and call others, while I (been collecting on/off since 93') who knew the mostly "clean" hobby just get right to it and call them scumbags. 😂 Don't like anyone who takes advantage of others love of something/someone for $$$ or stuff. Whatever is out there for sell, let people buy. I actually think scalping/reselling should be illegal. Kinda like my take on Kurt's Card Care and others that try to cheat the system. Not sure if you heard, but PSA is degrading a group of cards that had Kurt's card Care. Sooooo, hopefully he will be no more too. I don't mind people blowing/wiping card dust off, but filling in grooves, buffing, esp pressing down corners and filling in scratches, etc. Just like trimming shouldn't be allowed. I think people buying graded cards now better be wary as if these things were used, whose to say they won't wear off later & the virners pop back up or the scratches show back up over time? Won't matter the grade if you can see it. I just wouldn't buy graded cards right now. Never have really. As we lived through the junk wax era of the 80s/90s, I feel like the 20s we're now living through the junk slab era. Man, people grade EVERYTHING. I get rare cards, hits, rookies, etc... but base cards, unused mems, etc are nuts to me. I saw a guy in 18' or 19' grade 50, I swear 50, Baker Mayfield rookie prizm cards- 50!!! 😂 Isn't he just bringing the value down by overloading the market? 😂 😂 plus- Baker??? Not Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson- Baker. 😂 I still have tons of all there rookies I keep very well handled but not graded. 😂 Have a good one Sam. Sorry I get jabber sometimes.
