Theres a lot I could say about modern DCI, but I think the uniforms are a lot better than they could have been. You can still make a guess as to what Corps this is without knowing ahead of time. Would be so much better with their helmets, but props. Also the WGI judges would get grumpy

Huh, it only took 1 minute 30 seconds for this band to start playing horns and drums. The rest of the beginning has ZERO added value whatsoever. Do better designers. Was the guard book incomplete? The rifles and sabers seemed to be wandering about aimlessly in the first 4 minutes at least. And they had the dropsies. What is up with a jazz interlude during what was clearly a classical themed show? Again, do better designers. It was just noise, and noise that hurt my ears. The members are just playing what they’re told to play, so this monstrosity is all just a design ick.
