Aye the Non Binary Monster episode! I have to say this is definetly one of my favourite and Id argue best episodes of Hilda. Fantastic music, great sence of suspence and atmosphere, phenomenal creature design and character, and really great momments with Joana and Hilda. There still at bit at odds as any parent with their teen, but you really see how much they love eachother and the lengths that Joana is willing to go for her daughter.

this is definitely one of my fave episodes of the series! i love the monster design and it definitely had me on the edge of my seat, but i also really love seeing Hilda making memories with Joanna as well. all around just a really great episode!

love this episode! yes you did have a good oracle moment here but the most insane one is yet to come! I almost fell out of my chair during your S2E5 reaction. if you've already watched the finale go watch that your video starting at 20:25. literally THE ULTIMATE oracle moment 🤯 like how tf did you do it?! that part from season 2 episode 5 definitely should be added to the final reaction

The sketch Joanna drew of Hilda is how she looked it in the first Hilda graphic novel. Beyond that, I remember liking this episode. It's just different enough from the rest of the series to be memorable without being jarring. Fake spoilers for the finale: - Series Big Bad: The Pooka! - David saves the day. - Twig leaves to live among the deerfoxes...

For me it's not that Anders is hate-worthy, it's just, he's generally a mildly crappy person and a crappy dad. He cares about things, hell he loves his daughter enough to distract a killer troll, but all the other parenting is what he sucks at. I appreciate that the show doesn't make it some huge thing with a backstory that is somehow resolved, it's just that he's not good at being a dad and that's it. It makes it feel more real.

Oh also on another note, have you thought of putting MoonGirl & DevilDinosaur season 2 on the reaction list? I remember your reactions sorta introduced me to the show and I really loved em. Season 2 was also quite a fun one so curious to see your thoughts on it. Also, the Monster Hunter Wilds Beta. How'd you find it? Were you also a part of the PC gang and the hilarious Polygon stuff that went down there🤣?

@fang609 I am considering doing Moon Girl after Arcane season 2 because I think I heard the show has one more chunk of episodes and then is finished, so I might circle back to that then. Won't be a better time to do so. And I actually missed the beta! My computer is not good enough to run wilds it seems so I'm going to be getting it on PS5. Thankfully there's cross-platform play so I'll be able to still play with everyone on PC too

@fang609 in world I was a lance main, it felt so good in that one. I try to cycle through different weapons as I go, in Rise it was SnS, wilds is TBD what I'm going to fall into. And I'll definitely be streaming a lot of it when it comes out and will likely have open hunting lobbies so if you see the opportunity feel free to hop in
