Sony cancels the ONE PROJECT that I would actually like to see. Silk: Spider-Society would be an awesome idea for a show. (certainly more fun, and interesting than any of their Spider-villain movies so far)

silk is one of my favorite spider-characters/ female superhero and hearing this news was a downer. seeing the articles about how exec wanted to have less silk in it, is really dumb - like she's a superhero. why in the hell do u want less of that? hell amazon has two other superhero shows that has superhero drama and having human drama. it's really weird they couldn't do anything for silk.

Ok I’ve seen these comments a bit but it’s bugging me too now. Benny interrupted/spoke over Sal as he tried to make his point several times, and when Sal finally got to make his (very interesting) point, Benny “got distracted randomly” and didn’t address it. Like the show, like you both, but frustrating as a viewer and just not a good look

I always thought Cindy Moon was such an under appreciated hero, and while Morbius & Madame Web were not good, Spider-Verse was great and I think the Venom films are at least really fun to watch. I think Sony could have made something good

What, a show about a character who couldn't sell a single comic despite being with Spider-man, was dropped before filming even began. Color me shocked. I also love these comments saying "I like silk", where were you 10 years ago. Cindy shows up when the writer wants a spider person and aren't allowed to use Peter or Miles.

you know silk had more stories recently. sure they were mini-series but they did come out. people were reading those. i at the every least i was there for those times. i was there reading the Thompson run on silk (2015 - 2017), Maurene Goo's mini-series from 2021), and both of Emily Kim's mini-series - the 2022 and 2023 series. she does have a fanbase; it's just marvel doesn't push her into the limelight like spider-gwen. which for me, i think silk is a more interesting character than spider-gwen. all spider-gwen got going for her is that she's a cool design. she is so boring as a character, that she can't have her own story in her own universe. she has to jump to another universe for her stories to continue.
